I was in Peterborough prison when that woman ( can’t remember her name off the top of my head ) was in there that killed her stepson through neglect and cruelty. The shocking cctv footage of that poor boy not even having the strength to put his duvet back on his bed.
Anyway I was on the exercise yard one afternoon and there was a female gov that had been working on the women’s side for the previous week. She was telling us that even though she wasn’t allowed out of her pad when the other inmates were out, they still managed to make her life a misery. One of the ways that she punished that poor child was trying to poison him with salt. So the inmates would put a load of salt on her food then the gov’s will take it to her. She tried putting in a complaint saying that the gov’s were allowing inmates to mess with her food.
Which got everyone angry as she has more protection than that poor child did from her, he had no one to complain too, or a kiosk to put a complaint in.

I still can’t sleep when I think of what that beast Emma Tustin did to her boyfriend’s child - she was so proud of her sadism she filmed his misery while his dad stood by. The other kids in the house were treated alright but poor Arthur was beaten and abused day and night - and he was six years old, aware of every act of cruelty that piece of garbage subjected him to. There is no punishment great enough for this subhuman monster. That poor little boy.

Great she’s found god but how many children did fran kill selling drugs ? That would be interesting to know…drug dealers don’t have a conscious etc and all about making money. Nobody going to employ you so set up a page talking about female prisons. Yesterday you spoke about two prisons but Holloway which if the biggest closed prison has different rules to your experiences. Maybe stick to the prisons you experienced as I know for a fact you need to point out, you don’t know all the prison rules. Plus being in a main block is very different to the psychiatric ward , detox wing and where children killers Are housed.

Watching from Canada. I don't imagine Lucy will have smooth time in prison. Murdering babies is a heinous crime. Killing babies so she could flurt with doctor is beyond disgusting. Those poor parents are sentenced to a life of grief. My first grand baby was just born. I'm a peaceful, sensible person, but murdering such innocent babies who are already needing the NICU is hoffific.

Rest easy young man RIP brother it's not right that a young mans life is in jeopardy because he's come out after doin prison time and I didn't know about Sheriff Lothian who was one of the most horrific judges to go up against , I feel your pain bruv this judge was a bad experience going in front of him because he put so many people away in prison for remand in custody until whenever and if he's done more bad than good that tells me that he is not a good person and it really shows when he was on the bench and just say I was up that day and came from St Leanords police station in Edinburgh is one of the most dangerous places no exercise all weekend and then you go to court after spending the weekend say in the cop shop and when you get in the holding cells under the courts and you hear that Sheriff Lothian is on the bench that is a scare for people and you start to hear people saying I'm getting remanded because he's a bad judge to go up against your more than likely going to remand if you have done some things in your past that you have been up in front of him before your going to prison more than not, sorry about your lad it's so sad to see this happen and sorry you probably don't even want to hear what I'm saying right now but I have to do my best to keep young catz outside of prison because it ain't worth it y'all listening check yourself before you go do something stupid that will end you up in prison especially in front of judges like Lothian who has been a bit of a mystery with the way he lived and I guarantee that a lot of these people are just as bad as the other especially judges they get involved with some of the most craziest stuff going down and it seems to be a fact that it's so popular for a judge to be doing some funky bullshit that we will end up finding out about there antics that are a little bit naughty huh

If Letby doesn't get beaten to death in prison she will probably die from heart disease due to the diet and lack of exercise . However that might take about another thirty years . I've worked in health care here in the UK for 45 years . Letby horrifies me . And I know that she horrifies all of you too . Those poor babies and their families 😢

    • @bobbypukes605
      @bobbypukes605 ปีที่แล้ว +11

I don't think the diet will do anything to her that a diet won't do to the rest of us out here. If anything, they get to gorge on food a lot less. By law, the food provided to them has to be safe. I'd imagine it is probably also a balanced diet (in terms of what is provided). This is the U.K., remember. So, we bend over backwards for people's human rights. It will probably be similar to hospital food, but maybe half as palatable.
What will really damage your health in that type of environment is the lack of hope and 24/7 stress (the feeling of being locked up in a hostile environment). So, in a place like that, the strongest survive. Letby is definitely not a hardened career criminal (with no criminal history), so she will not do well there at all. Unlike a lot of them in there (who have hope of being released), Letby has no hope at all once her appeals fail (which I assume they will).

Letby's biggest admission of guilt is her refusal to attend the sentencing, where she would have to face the families of the innocent victims. And it REALLY IS TIME the UK government did not allow convicted criminals to face the full consequences of her crimes. She has been ordered to receive print outs of the families' views, and the judges statement on sentencing. But they cannot make her read it. The recorded statements of the families statements and judge's sentencing should be played to her in her cell every day for the rest of her life. The friends and family who support her and claim her innocence clearly did not pay attention to the evidence, and are beyond disgusting. Were she my daughter, I would have told her she is no longer my daughter, and not to expect letters or visits

A parent will always feel love towards their child even if they are disappointed in them. That doesn't mean they believe their child is innocent. Great discussion. Really appreciated hearing such discussions given the LL case recently. Abhorrent crimes from a cold hearted cretin, and she’s damaged the trust between families and those who are meant to care most (nurses)!
As a dual trained paediatric and public health nurse and someone who is desperate to be a mother this case has gripped me. I am so very sorry for the loss of each babies life and can only imagine the pain the families have to live with 😢 It’s just devastating on every level.
LL’s only visitors will be her parents and eventually they will die and she’ll have no one. I hope LL lives a long and miserable life! 😤
I believe managers have a lot to answer for too. I pray they are held accountable for their lack of action and poor decision making. I’ve seen things in my time too! We need to bring back the matron to run things. Old school!

As long as she keeps lying she will be of no purpose to the babies' parents, her colleagues etc that want/ need explanations and closure because they are the true victims. She acts as the only victim 'scapegoat' in the face of all the testimonies and evidence against her. She'd get some respect if she came clean, but it seems to me as long as her parents live she won't confess, and this will make her life even more miserable.
What I find extremely disgusting is the level of idiocy and selfishness in her character, knowing what the parents and her colleagues have gone through there is no greater insult to all the people involved than pretending to be innocent.

I recently worked for prison transfers, the escort vans that take prisoners from police to court, court to prison and prison to other prisons. I regularly went in to Low Newton prison to drop off and pick up, it’s a decent jail considering. The guards are pretty decent in there, however I’m sure Lucy Letby will not get any nice treatment. She will only stay there about 5 years then will be moved on to somewhere else. Rose West was moved from there a couple of years ago with her girlfriend, they were moved down south together for bullying other inmates. I know from transferring some bad people in the past that the other prisoners on the van will have mentally tormented her and that will continue for years to come.

This also needs court action and sentencing.

It would lead to a vast increase in the number of addicts if they can legally buy drugs whenever they want and when their money runs out they would turn to crime to feed their habit. It's bad enough now, we don't need thousands more addicts on our streets. Far from removing the criminal element it would make it far worse.

The current policy doesn’t work, people with childhood trauma self medicate with drugs and end up committing crimes to feed there habits. They need proper treatment and support to work through there problems not to be criminalised.the government could charge tax on it and create more revenue to provide better facilities for these people. I also blame the hospital for this. Allowing other babies to die so they can compile more evidence is sickening, and stupid of them. They basically enabled her for 8 years, when police should have been doing an investigation after the first baby died suspiciously.
This is what actually happened here. I did private investigating back in my 20s, and I am so extremely confused why there is not a Camera video recording every nursery in every hospital on the entire planet?!?! Our most vulnerable and valuable on the planet, are not protected with video surveillance??? What???
That was back in the 90s that the angel of death killed those babies. If cameras would’ve been Issued as standard practice across-the-board after that case, this one would never have gotten past the first, or second death. Also why is there no camera in the medication room monitoring who is taking drugs out of the fridge? I was under the impression that was also standard practice in every hospital?? How many doctors or nursing staff have been caught stealing meds to feed their own addictions? The camera monitoring meds should be issued for those security reasons alone. 😳 Or at least a ID scanner to verify who is even opening the refrigerator filled with meds. We have the tech…..for many many years now ffs. GAS STATIONS HAVE SECURITY CAMERAS BUT A HOSPITAL NURSERY DOESN’T 😳🤷🏻‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I’m so heart broken and angry about this case. Shame on that hospital for not involving police immediately. When it comes to kids safety, every one’s “feelings” can go fuck them selves…protecting the kids and babies comes first, and police should have been called. They should be doing jail time right beside her in my opinion. I have Zero sympathy for those idiots.

And I don’t think there’s a person in this country who would blame a prison for something like that happening. Infact the prisoners deserve a public service award.
These people shouldn’t be in protection, the same way these children weren’t afforded any mercy by them.

Your talking about daniel morcombe and yes the undercover detectives that did that case were absolutely amazing. How they infuriated a crime gang and got into there way of life for over a year to get the killer was unbelievable. They made a mini series on it on a streaming platform. The killer was attacked by a fellow inmate and you could actually hear Australia cheer in the news and media. His parents were tortured by his death and for years had no closure they started a foundation for missing children

    Letby is in Durham
There is a mixture of single cell, double cell and triple cell.
Because of her high profile infamy she’ll be in single cell protected.

Really educational, thank you Fran for your insight, also the presenter is very good. Lucy Letby's crimes were awful, but other criminals punishing her with physical violence etc isn't acceptable. They also don't know if LL has a mental health disorder. She needs protection and against self harm.

The way Fran pronounces "jail" is the most British thing I've ever heard. If she said that in a Walmart, it would turn into a Tesco.

What Lucy and All of us need is help to learn about why and how cruel, dissociated Lucy's behaviour was.
Wherever others were responsible for ignoring red flags, or worse driving harm regarding the poor babies, they must be stopped from allowing or causing harm.
Too many groups of people are responsible for the crimes associated with harm of babies, children, vulnerable adults.
These groups share psychopathology, beliefs, dissociation with pain they inflict.
They organise themselves and others to do harm and hide evidence and silence people.
This case in general is focussed on Lucy who obviously should have been stopped and understood to protect the children.
Lucy clearly at least suffered and inflicted suffering on the basis of trauma in her own early life..with Dissociation Identity disorder and Social isolation in terms of anyone who cared for or even knew her.
Prison must not do more harm.
We must learn from people who harm others, why.
Problem is that the worst and most dangerous people connected with these'bizarre people fade into the background and the prisoner is the scapegoat.
Protecting babies and children, vulnerable adults from harm is top priority.
Punishment and reward are tacky torturous.
Mental health must be cared for an protection and care
    must be priority.
