"What can you do with this? Not a lot really". Ha! I am surprised that a projected sketch (loop) on to a solid body can not be removed completely, through the material, like when making a hole in a cylinder.
Thanks, mate:)...Hey, long time no see! (expect for your spinner tutorial from 3 days back). Burning the midnight oil at the office, so to speak, I guess... Till the next one, then :)
I'm still having problems doing this on a box with edges that have a fillet edge , I'm trying to project geometry on one face around the fillet edge and onto the other face
I thought about buying these two: 1. www.3dconnexion.com/products/cadmouse.html 2. www.3dconnexion.com/products/spacemouse/spacenavigator.html Is it a good purchase? Thank you friend
Love your videos. Especially since they come with commentary. Thanks for providing this channel.
Thank you for this. I needed this for work and interestingly TH-cam recommended this even before I typed it in the search.
Incredibly helpful! Thanks a lot.
Excellent video!! However, I did all the steps as in the video and the Thicken/Offset process on the structure only the sketch but the entire surface
Thank you that was really helpful you have saved my day
Thanks alot! Both methods are a big help.
thanks for the nifty videos!
Is there a video showing how to create that intersection of the two cylinders ?
Excellent video :) Quick question; how do you make the thickened part so it can be patterened around the part? I can't do that with this method.
First, you have to split (split command) the form created by the projection. Second, you use the thicken command.

Thankyou for sharing
I saw my mentor project a sweeped sketch onto a frame that it was intersecting with. How do i do that?
THANKS
Hi, saw your video and would need some help. I am trying to split different forms in the same sketch but it seems impossible. any tip @tfi ?
friend
1-How do you do these movements on the screen?
2-Which mouse model do you use?
I use a 3DConnexion space mouse, Google it, they're amazing. I use the Space Mouse Enterprise but the cheapest model will do the exact same movements

Sadly no, it was my first first, probably my last first too.
Josh M Don't be sad, I heard that first first is the best anyway, So second first wouldn't be any better :-)
