They have only gotten through about 3 of the 7 locations/chapters in the campaign so I am sure we will be seeing a season 3 and 4 at least if they do the full campaign as they mentioned wanting to do. (Peru, New York and London mostly done, but Australia, Shanghai, Egypt and Kenya still left to visit.)

@@Galactic321 Its not a spoiler, they literally already mentioned this in a previous episode. The campaign is made up of 7 chapters/locations that can be tackled in any order and they already where presented with the list when in New York.

This was Complete Chaos with the Murder Mystery Squad!
This is the genius of CoC: a couple of rent-a-cops can be a major problem for an entire party of hardened investigators.
I just hope season 3 is less of a wait- I watched the first season four times while waiting! There is an unexpected warmth in this CoC campaign known for its meat grinder surprises. Love it!
Fayrouz: "I choose violence!" Carter: "Let's burn this to the ground!" Margot: "I draw my shotgun." Ross' new Investigator: "Down with the bosses! Revolution now!" And thus the transformation to murder hobos is complete. 😃👍
Every gaming group has chaos. GCN, in its wisdom, was smart enough to put Chaos in the name. And Boy Howdy, did the Mystery Squad step in a pile of it this week. These folks are a joy to watch and this week's hard left into, well, CHAOS was just lovely entertainment. Thanks for another banger. 🤘

Maybe troy will give out cuthulu caps in season 3 for awesome role-playing or clutch dice rolling
The fumble push is always a fun thing the great failings, what the keeper does with it, how the players respond and play through it is always an entertaining exercise. Because there was so much time my group is now far far ahead of you and I've told them that it's okay to watch the glass can in time for chaos if they want to. And they're looking at things that you guys did that they didn't do and things that Troy came up with that I didn't come up with of course we did things differently from what you're doing as well but it's fun to see how this group handles it.

The Eagle's Grange was entirely Troy's creation. That was entirely for the benefit of the retirement, or perhaps recuperation, of and insane character. And picking up a new guy. And I thought that was great game mastering.
Oh man! The squad are now literal murderer/arsonists, and law enforcement will have detailed descriptions of them! 😂 I hope Troy plays this straight. There would be a full blown manhunt!

Also, after this episode I'd reckon the Mystery Squad went from being a minor nuisance in to an active threat in the eyes of the Brotherhood. Things are no doubt about to get very interesting.
You know with all the unsolved mysterious murders in CoC that the investigators tend to solve the track record of the police is not that great…however another group of investigators looking over the event 🤔
The near-terminal encounter today with the mundane threats of CoC reminds me of this from How We Roll Podcast:
"I've survived fucking Dagon and I get taken out by a hobo!"

This is a minor quibble but I want to say that Rob should not have has to spend all that luck. He’d opened this safe earlier that day. I think its legitimately a decent question if it should take a roll at all. Remember that the lock has to be set a certain way to open and engage the mechanism and Carter found that pattern already. Its like if you made someone roll a dice to remember the answer a math problem they’d done that morning. They don’t need to do the whole problem again, they can just remember the answer.
If nothing else, I’d at least offer up two bonus dice if you think that the surreptitious nature of Carter’s first crack meant he did it in a bit of a rush. Thankfully the luck system means the scene moves forward, but anyway, everyone has their 2 cents on the internet and here is mine. Great episode btw.
Wow, I was expecting a group wipeout at midpoint. Amazing how things can flip so fast.
I was in Jasper w a friend and we headed down a path and a bit further down was a black bear. We backed up till out of sight, but was still coming. We ended up running down the shale face of the mountain once we were out of sight. Bears!
I was so glad when I fell out of the loop for like 5 episodes and had a lot of catching up to do. Now I've binged them all and my well once again runneth dry.

So at the Safe Company last week's episode. I was really surprised they were allowed to be as far into the building as they were. And now you have extra security guards. But I'll drop a little bit of a hint and it's a Hollywood move not an actual move because it doesn't work as fast and actuality that's Hollywood does and honestly either is better but as so many in my group routinely say when negotiating security guards that are roadblocks to their goals," this is rag smell like chloroform to you? "

Anyone who says you would never resort to violence in CoC has never tried to GM life long DnD players. I never realized what murder hobos my friends were until they were burning a farming community to the ground because they didn’t like the answer they got from one npc. 😂😂
I have an idea for carter. It would be cool if any time he’s trying to fast talk someone he comes up with a different story about how his face got injured that he thinks they’ll be sympathetic too. Like when he was talking to the manufacturing workers he could say it was hurt in a machine meltdown. Use the half face as a roleplaying advantage.
You know how people say if you’re getting robbed you should remain calm and just give them what they want because it’s when you resist that things can get out of control and people can get killed? Those guards learned that lesson the hard way.
KNOW rolls are great for when there isn't an applicable skill on the sheet.
25:34 Knock-out Blows are an optional combat maneuver (Core Rulebook, pg. 125). Fairuz's hit there would have successfully KO'd the guard if that rule were in place.
Chloroform for real takes a few minutes in the meantime you got to struggle and fight with a person and when they wake up it's the worst hangover ever. Ether is faster and kinder. And Physicians usually carry it. Physicians also normally carry things like alcohol whiskey, morphine, and cocaine. And one member of my group spent a couple of years in the Appalachians with a granny and her daughter and learned all kinds of mountain medicine. Re. The Book of lost Herbal Remedies....

Also poor Noura, I think she rolls on roll20 because i saw a bunch of comments questioning her incredible luck. (Fairly common at tabletops too ftr, people like open rolls). But hey, she still nailed the science roll. Some people are just beloved by fate. 😂

Raccoons. Other called trash pandas for a reason. And the very clever. The best thing you can do is have a a receptacle that they can't get into at a place they can't reach. Inside a garage or a mud room if you have one. So you don't have to tolerate big diaper smell inside your house but just making sure that it goes out on a regular basis is is a plus also with the rest of your trash, people don't do this and they should but when they don't they wonder why they have raccoons or bugs in the house. But a very simple thing if you open a can you empty the can you rinse the can and if you have soapy dish water candy submerged in the Soapy dish water and then put it in the trash without rinsing it. Anything that had me in it you make trades rinses off Suds them up and throw them away soaping any trash that has any food particle or was that or wrapped anything wet if you'll just Suds it and then throw it away soapy you'll have a lot less problems with anything that gets into your trash.
Telephone wire knowledge would definitely be electrical repair.
