Little tip, take some 14 guage copper wire and wrap it around the judo, starting from underneath the prongs and wrap downwards. Just need a little grain scale to get the desired weight. Works perfect! I make the spirals nice and tight.
Love the Ace hex heads! I bought something similar for my carbons as well. I need to make some more woods, all of mine are too weak for my bow. Love shooting them. Thanks for sharing
Love the Hex heads. I see Robert that you have pretty much settled on wood arrows, they do quite well and have forever. Shooting longbows and selfbows, woodies just seem right and they are more durable than some realize. I am fletching six now for a young man. another great video Sir
There are many blunts I like. The Hex heads are one of the best. They are easy to clean dirt off which is actually a big deal for practice shooting. I also like the Judo, Saunders bludgeons, Forge converta blunt as well as making my own by cutting the tip off of 250 gr field points with a hack saw. I use the bludgeon if I am hunting with a dog in case the dog bites the arrow.
Excellent advice, as always 👍😃
Great video Robert!

@@jerrycox2058 yessir I really like the Douglas fir arrows. Makes me feel like I'm bow hunting.
Thanks again for an excellent suggestion!

Good info RC as always.
Thanks for all you do!
I like the hex head. I use them instead of the judos so I can get close to my broadhead weight (200).
For years we tac welded small washers on a field point. Good for squirrels and stumps
Thank you
Good point on points...
