As a Deist I dont see where you see or need a thesitic creator god in this evolution?
Of course some in some dinosaurs evolved feathers, but thats an evidence for EVOLUTION.
In this case the evolution from reptiles to birds:
    Jinfengopteryx > Microraptor > Velociraptor > Archaeopteryx > Jeholomis > Sapeornis > Confuciusomis > Liaoningomis > Aves (Modern Birds)
The line is getting more and more fine with every skeleton found.

Birds have feathers, a swivel wrist, and a small tail. Dinosaurs have straight wrists, scaly skin, and long tails.

Hello, thanks for watching! Although that is a definition used by some creationist organizations it is actually a bit incorrect and oversimplified. As mentioned in the video, birds are a type of dinosaur. This is similar to how we are mammals. Humans share common features like hair and milk with other mammals which make us members of this group. Like Mammalia, Dinosauria is a broad group that encompasses many different created kinds. This group includes both terrestrial and flying kinds.
Birds are a unique subgroup within Dinosauria. However, feathers are not unique to them. Take for example, Yutyrannus, a T. rex-like dinosaur nearly thirty feet in length. This theropod was covered in long shaggy feathers. Scales aren't unique to non-avian dinosaurs either! Many birds, including chickens have scales on parts of their body like their legs.

@@NewCreationClips Every bird known to man has feet like that, but not on their backs.

      And filaments are not feathers.

Hmm idk, I think Microraptor can be classified as a bird. I don't really see what demands it be classified as reptile. Tawny wasn't on the video 💔

Thanks for commenting! Skeletally, Microraptor is much more similar to other dinosaurs like Velociraptor than it is to birds. There are a plethora of other feathered dinosaurs which are clearly not birds. These include Yutyrannus, a possible relative of T. rex almost thirty feet in length. This large, carnivorous dinosaur has long filamentous feathers covering its body. Therizinosaurs are another good example. They were gigantic bipedal dinosaurs with huge claws and feathers too!
We usually don't refer to birds as reptiles, because we still use Linnaeus's classes like mammalia, reptilia, aves, and amphibia. However, we can still recognize that there is a larger pattern of similarity between these groups. So, I wouldn't call a bird a reptile. I would say that God made birds and reptiles using a similar design plan.

Yes. I mean we have the fossils. I know some creationists dismiss them or say they are contaminants from water or some such. But….. cmon.
Just because dinosaurs have feathers is not a case against a young earth. Some creationists seem to pick very poor battles.

I agree that dinosaur feathers are not a good anti-creationist argument. While the presence of feathers on dinosaurs was predicted by evolutionists, I think that it would also have been a logical prediction from a creationist perspective. Some creationists have elsewhere stated that the sharing of this specific trait would be expected given the overall skeletal similarity between birds and non-avian dinosaurs.

@NewCreationClips I've observed birds for many hours. One aspect of bird feathers is preening them. How does a dinosaur with large teeth preen its feathers.
      Dinosaurs with feathers is stupid.

    • @ianchenofficial
      @ianchenofficial 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@georgebond7777why do dinosaurs have to preen their feathers? Evolution would state a more basal form of a feather (scales) evolved to plumage you are saying is a feather. It stands to reason that the function of feathers evolve as well
Stop with the stupid typical creationist thinking and assume what we have today is exactly the same as the past. I mean it’s in the word - evolution.
And as I said. Look at the fossils yourself. And as I also said. Dinosaurs with feathers is not evidence against young earth creation. Pick better battles Georgie Porgie.

Hi @georgebond7777 thanks for the comment! However, I think that your logic there is somewhat inaccurate. You imply that teeth would prevent an organism from preening its feathers. However, we know of many fossil birds such as Hesperornis and Icthyornis which had both teeth and feathers. This makes it clear that the two are not mutually exclusive. Furthermore, many dinosaurs did not have complex feathers which needed more precise methods of preening. For example, Yutyrannus, the largest known feathered dinosaur had very long shaggy filamentous feathers. So, this is not a good argument against the existence of feathered dinosaurs.
