She needs to press charges on EVERYONE who was in that house. Someone hurt that baby, and the others are covering it up. That makes them ALL guilty of a crime!

I've adopted 3 kids. THEY WERE LOVED JUST AS ANY OF MY BIOLOGICAL KIDS WERE. (And yes, adopted through the foster care program at all different ages.) IT DOESN'T DEFINE THEM. Without complications at least 15,000 dollars and easily 25,000 dollars to sue someone that you don't get back unless you win AND if you lose you have to pay there lawyer fees on top of your own.

When that grandma cried, I cried. You can see her pain. I cannot imagine what they are going through. Someone hurt that child and are cowards for blocking her. You have the balls to do that, you should have the balls to stand up and admit it and take responsibility. sickening

A good mom knows everyone that was around their child and would be able to pinpoint who and when. Idc if she did it or not. Not knowing makes her a shitty mother. I know where my kids are every second of every day and who is around them every second. This is what has opens when you just let whoever watch your kids whenever.

I had a fractured orbital bone when I was 15, and it was extremely painful and hard to heal from. I can only imagine what that was like for a 13 month old baby.

A fractured eye orbit! Dear God! They better figure out who did this. The police need to investigate anybody who was in that family members house that day. Somebody there needs to be in jail. Also they are not answering the phone which means they know.
Why weren't the family members there that watched the son? And the father should've definitely been there. Now it just looks suspicious why he's not since they lost custody.

great mum tbh. took to doctors right away, called and questioned everyone, made sure to get her name cleared so investigation could steer towards the others in the house she suspects, got the ball rolling on getting her baby to her own mum until she can sort it. whoever did this will get their comeuppance, godspeed.

WHY is Dad not on here taking a lie detector test? He's the one who went up and pick the baby up and supposedly didn't notice it until after Mom notice it so where is he?! He should be there taking a test right now and so should the people who the child was left with. I understand the mom wanted to clear her name but that is not what's most important right now what's most important is finding out who did this doesn't matter who didn't do it we need to know who did do it

They need to get the father on here and take one .. seems a little sketchy that he went to pick the baby up and “didn’t see it” and walked down and put the child in the car seat calmly (car lights turn on) saying he didn’t see it ??? Idk seems like he’s covering up for someone

The detective saying that it was an accident is just a tactic that they use to try to get people to admit to the wrongdoing. People are more likely to grasp onto the idea of it being an accident so it minimizes their guilt. It in no way means that the detective believed it was truly an accident. It is just one of the ways they try to get to the truth. Now to watch the rest and see who deserves to be put under the damn jail. That pic of that baby is horrific.
Ok now I have seen that it wasn't the mother. Thank goodness!! It is sad that she has to be away from her son when he needs her the most. I understand them finding it fishy that the mother did not know what happened, but sometimes that really is the truth. I cannot imagine having to be away from either of my boys, especially hurt like that, knowing that I was being nothing but truthful. Thank goodness for her mother stepping up to care for him so that he didn't get thrown into the broken foster care system. Now I hope she is able to get him back ASAP!

Thank you. That would have been the first call instead of constantly calling the people who was in the house especially if they stopped answering the phone. I would have called the police to get everything on record. Someone has to watch this house to question whoever comes out of it because at some point they have to come out. I think the dad knows who did it and that's why he didn't come to the show.

@@breannasdaily3566 I think he noticed because even if a baby is sleeping, you can't miss all of that swelling on his eye especially if it has been maybe a few hours since it happened and it's visible. I don't think he wants to get his family member in trouble because there is no way he picked his kid up in total darkness in that house without putting a light on to make sure he had the diaper bag and everything else the baby went there with. Once the dad put the baby in the car and the mom noticed what happened, she should have called the police right then and there.

I hope we get an update on if the family members were questioned and hopefully charged, but if I was the dad of this sweet baby I would have gone on the show too, that way there's no doubt about him. Praying for this family.❤

Exactly. Either way the police would have been called to come to that residence. I would have called them when I saw my child's face and someone else would have called after I kicked the door in to those people's house. We all going to jail on that night!

The daughter is very strong. I can tell. She’s not the type that’ll cry easily but you can still see she’s strong and is being strong for her baby to get Justice for him.

she brings up a good point. If you are a parent and your kid is hurt, the last thing you would want is to admit to an "accident". That's neglect. Abuse is a whole other world of oh god. If my kid was hurt, I wouldn't blame it on an accident, I would do everything in my power to prevent that 'accident' from happening.
Steve never asked did she know who caused the injuries? The boyfriend is a possible suspect. If she had knowledge of that she should not have the child in her home again. You failed this time, Steve.

The mother is clearly not thinking! She should have gone to the police & asked to do an investigation into the matter. Even though she passed the test, she probably knows who really did this. It sounds like there’s more to this case! The real victim is the child! May God’s justice be done on the people responsible!
That case was heartbreaking, horrifying, awful, shocking.. I cried.. I felt bad for the mother and grandmother, they deserve to know who did the enormous child abuse and to reporting it to cops.. This poor baby is litteraly blind in one eye, and it was on purpose, it made my heart skipping a beat..
I don't want to have kids because of this kind of stuff.. I don't want my future kid.s suffering like that.. And even if i won't have kids, i don't want any kids suffering from abuse.. EVER!

So….something happened at the babysitters and the father somehow …somehow, managed not to notice a huge swelling on his baby who was either distressed or in shock and silent .
Or and my instinctive reaction is he dropped the child on the way out..picked it up and the child was then semi conscious or out cold when he was being put in the car, came to..gave that half strangled cry and so on.
That looks like a solid object contact injury…not a fist, more like concrete or a brick or step edge.

This is why my mother never trusted anyone with my sisters and I. If we wanted a sleepover then they had to come to our place. I didn’t start spending the night at people’s place until I was old enough to make my own decisions.
Well said Nakkeesha you need to know where your child is growing up in the 60s as a child i couldn't understand why i couldn't stay at my friends houses and i thought my parents were too strict but now I have a son i completely understand because of abuse of children look after your kids and make sure you know where are

This right here is the reason why my children have NEVER been to a babysitter. They have only ever been with trusted family, and even then it was once they could talk because you truly never know. My boys are 12 and 11yo and have never once been to a babysitter. I remember the horrors of my childhood which I'm sure make me overly cautious but I would rather that than the alternative.

Someone did something to that baby if they don't want say what happened to the mother .. When my son was about 2-3 years old he had gotten a new Xbox game and wanted to show his dad as he was running to his dad his foot got cought in a wire for the controller and he fell and hit his eye on the entertainment center thank God it was round edged because his eye hit it and his eye was so bad but the doctor said they could tell it was from a fall and not like a person because of the way the bruise was he had a line across where he hit the edge and that was the exact reason why we always kept round edged things because kids can get hurt but if the doctor said that was on purpose then she is gonna fight for her baby and believe them over people who won't even answer her phone calls ..

CPS/law enforcement failed this baby still by not doing the necessary work and taking him away from his parents. The first thing they should’ve done was checked out mom and dads alibi. They shouldn’t have been punished when they weren’t even present during the time it happened. They weren’t being neglectful, they left the child with family members whom they thought they could trust and probably went out together having adult time. Nobody ever thinks they’ll come back to something like this. Smh.
