I think if a film is made in the mood of Samuel Becket that's unobjectionable, but it is just stupidity to apply that to the songs of Bob Dylan which were made with no idea behind them. A fortiori for schlock neo film noir that actually have the idea of social reliance and political manipulation. Absurdism in Beckett is a special idea of an intelligent man.
