    God this is so underrated
Another think the art has to feel the art has to jump bounce or be realistic like moving puppets

2-d or traditional animation needs to make a comeback because everything now looks the same yet there are some 2-d animations on TH-cam

I have seen a couple of them. Have you seen the stuff that Tom Bancroft with @PencilishStudios is doing with youtube and animation? He was a Disney animator back in the day and is using youtube and kickstarter to crowdfund cartoons.

I think you're right, that is really what communicate life and character is how they move.

Some other cartoons Disney could do is princess and the pea. There’s a lot of creative license you could take with it

You never did mention the contributions of Max and Dave Fleischer Studios. They pioneered animating from a filmed live actor (rotoscoping-1917) and using still photographs as animation backgrounds to create the illusion of cartoon characters inhabiting a real-world space in 1934 (Betty Boop short Ha! Ha! Ha!). Disney begged, borrowed, and stole ideas from everyone. He was a genius marketer but not a god.

Thanks for bringing them up! I will look them up for sure! What is interesting, too, is that a lot of achievements attributed to Disney were thanks to the efforts of talented employees then Disney himself. Disney did have a lot of the marketing and business skills, as well as branding and leadership abilities, but he was not the best animator or inventor either.

Sure. I have always liked Fleisher more than Disney because they were edgier. The very early Disney stuff is appealing, probably because it's so primative.

Good souls creative minds be it any race would create anything good, clean and none of stench filled darkness till original creators were there all was well and good you can see it very much visible, those generations had value for word given and their moral values in their work accountability kept ,along with their talent capabilities, later I have no idea what happened to all of them, once original creators weren't there...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this! Disney is an interesting example because you can watch each Disney film and see the culture change overtime from the 1920's till the 2020's. It builds a sort of history as you see changes in values and aesthetic arts. I started this channel becuase I love good family entertainment that has true messages and moral values.
