I think the international game now is much poorer with the absence of the Ashes. even though GB have been brought back and are currently playing NZ, Tonga and PNG there just isn't the same interest as there would be if we were playing the Australians. l'd be curious to see how GB would do against Australia, probably the same as we've done in the last 30-40 years - have the odd victory but get smoked when it really mattered. I know Australia are supposedly coming to play 3 games next year but that won't be against GB, it will be against England.

Call me cynical but i think the British super league ruined English footy, I mean, do Widnes even exist anymore? and Wigan are not really the great powerhouse they once were, they've done alright recently, but still, I miss the old school English "1st Division" that was the shit, I guess money truly doesn't buy happiness, well, except for Rupert Murdoch and his croonies.
