- I'm SO sad to have to change my house in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It's entirely necessary, however, as I wrap up the fall version of my Animal Crossing: New Horizons island. And since our house is currently decorated for summer, well... you understand.

Liss, I’m not sure if you’ll read this, but you do have the custom design polish effect unlocked! Just open the polish menu and press x. (You can see it for yourself at 10:01)
i had no idea until you & some other ppl commented that! lol tysm i would have gone my whole life thinking i didn't have it unlocked :P
the issue is that for autumn and especially winter the main points of the season (halloween, christmas) occur pretty early on; while for spring and summer you can finish the island in may and august and not feel like you’re late I guess?
anyways I personally think it’s totally okay and a lot more manageable and makes more sense to not rush to finish the island until february or whatever, even if you want to make it christmas themed

apple cider basement is perfect for fall and winter! i love doing two big yearly updates on my seasonal island, i do a spring/summer update right before the snow melts and then i do the fall/winter update when halloween is approaching and just swap out the holiday stuff so that its less stressful
This turned out sooo cute!! I love how you designed all the rooms!! My favorite is probably the brewery. It looks so cozy. Also for the bathroom, if you're feeling like it's too spacious in the future, you could try adding laundry items?? Like a bathroom/laundry room combo?? Idk, just a thought I had, but regardless I love how it turned out (and I personally really liked the green tension poles :)). I hope you have a great day/night!!

number 1 A christmas tree farm!!!!!
number 2 A hot cocoa stand
number 3 A present area!! (almost like a gift exchange area)
number 4 A cute little candle light area with hot cocoa and stuff!!
number 5 A christmas/winter dinner!!
also u should put little christmas trees in front of all the villager houses and if they share a yard maybe put a big christmas tree in the middle!?!
ik whatever u decide to build/do will be amazing so do whatever u want!! but i wanted to give u a few suggestions to maybe get the gears turning yk :))
