I have a question for c.dimond's course: WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THAT STAR!!?
If I had this game I would do levels without power ups forcing you to be extremely cautious. And encouraging players to not murder Yoshi at the first abyss you came across as you'll need him later on and there's only one. Oh my brain is just flowing with ideas...
The first one isn't new though. In fact one guy (panga) he's really pro, possibly the best, and he makes the hardest levels. If you want to check them out on yt: Search these:

All of pangas levels are made so 1 mistake = death. Every thing needs to be timed PERFECTLY.

Yeah but many players aren't than skilled nor have enough time to try such levels for hours. I say offer some difficulty but not that much to spend hours farming a level.

oh my god...that 12th level!! Just because they GIVE you 500 seconds does not mean you should have to USE 400 of them to complete the damn level!
Probably not, but it's probably on expert mode because people said EFF THIS 1/2 way through and killed themselves or skipped. Not sure if skips help the system determine if it's expert or not.
I think that Pack does a good job at making them look easy haha. So pro at mario! I watch the life count, sometimes it goes down quite a bit but still looks easy. A lot of them, like any platforming game, are just learning curve deaths, so by the time he gets to the one where he wins, it looks suuuuuper easy because he knows exactly what he's doing. But still...no need for a 6 minute level...seriously NO NEED.

hey whats your problem with checkpoints? you never grab them
He's so pro, he does not need checkpoints.
+Maximus Ma Since he/she wants to show off the entire level, say in the middle of the level he hits a checkpoint and then dies before the end. So Mario respawns at the Checkpoint, and most of the time you can't go back to where you began.
Or because he isn't sure what's coming up next and that's the only instance he would take the flag.
+Maximus Ma Normally I would try to hit them, but since I cut out deaths sometimes they are problematic because I may get the check point and die a bit after that. It's just simpler for editing purposes to avoid them.
