Why is it so satisfying to watch someone else meal prep? haha. The chopping of the veggies is so comforting! I also prep my fruit for the week, which I go through like it's my job. I LOVE strawberries, so I cut them into bite sized pieces as soon as I get them home and washed. I put them in cereal or yogurt like a little parfait for breakfast. It's the best! I change my PJs when I shower and wash my hair., which is every few days.
Hi Tara, my grandmother has been oiling my hair since a a very young age. I would recommend keeping the oil in your hair for at least one night before washing it. It'll be more effective. xx

I meal prepped every weekend while I was in grad school and it honestly saved me. I was doing it not necessarily for a specific goal but I have a strict diet to keep my autoimmune disease in check. I made at least one meal sometimes up to three. Sometimes I just need dinner for that week and sometimes I need all meals. I was tired of what I made by the end of the week but I was pulling between 12 to 16 hours days and I needed to eat. I really have to watch what I eat so for me to eat I have to make it myself. That’s how I managed. It’s always interesting to watch how others go about meal prepping with all the different approaches.
Seeing this and seeing all the things you are doing to start the new year off on a good note for yourself is very inspiring! They’re simple things too so I’m might be purchasing that habit tracker and the hair oil combination thing you did.
I’m so glad you’ve decided to do the hair oil. The rosemary is especially good. Please stay with it. I feel confident if you keep it in your beauty regiment, you’ll be happy with the results. Leave on your scalp as long as possible, if over night just get a hair bonnet and wash the next morning. Also, spraying rosemary water on your scalp daily will help, too. You can make it yourself. 😊
Hey Tara or anyone else reading :) Just to quickly share some newer health information for your health journey (I hope this is okay to share): We now know that any artificial sweeteners or any sugar substitute that doesn’t actually require insulin to be broken down, can actually lead to insulin resistance, and can lead to diabetes. Every time you taste something sweet on your tongue, your body releases insulin to process that sugar. When something like stevia shows up in your stomach over and over that has no sugar content, your body eventually stops producing insulin properly because it gets lazy and figures it’s not needed anymore even when we taste something sweet! The best kind of sugar we can give our body is natural sugars like honey and maple syrup or even brown sugar is better than processed granulated sugar. Add that to your yogurt and coffee instead! I know it seems backwards, but we have a lot of unlearning we all have to do from years of the diet industry screwing us up! Sadly, this includes diet drinks as well. Drink regular pop instead of diet pop to prevent insulin resistance! Or just avoid pop at all costs, but drink the regular stuff if you do! (Sounds crazy I know) It’s so much better for your body to have the regular stuff. And adding a little maple syrup to your yogurt isn’t going to cause health problems or weight gain. The other stuff will. Okay I’m done! Time to finish the video 😅

18:14 sitting here marinating my own hair for 45 mins now. Hehe. I added mayo, egg, honey, and castor oil. Blended it all up and I’ll be washing it out in another 15 minutes. Upgrading from plastic Tupperware to glass is a GAME CHANGER!! Now if you really want to make a change may I suggest a wooden cutting board! Apparently plastic cutting boards are bad bcos of microplastics and they’re hormone disrupters? I dunno call me crazy but I used to have tummy issues and HORRIBLE cramps and once I switched I noticed a huge difference!!!
Can you please let me know if you find the veggies/fruit start to get soggy or mushy (or get bad) because you precut? I would love to try this but do not want to risk it lol (also I need to buy containers for this)
I usually sleep in sweets and sometimes put them on early in the evening or keep them on a bit later in the morning if I’m home. So really just depends on how long I have worn them. If just for sleep and I didn’t sweat overnight(sometimes I do) than 2 or 3 nights but if they are sweaty or I wore them for longer than sleeping than every night.
Hey, just a tip, next time you oil your hair, it’s best to sleep in it overnight, it works better that way! I would just lay a towel or something over your pillow so it doesn’t get greasy. As far as the pj’s, it’s usually a few nights at least. Lol…
I recently switched to glass food storage love them, got rid of all the plastic ones I had! I loved the book Don't let her stay by Nicola Sanders you recommended, I don't know if you read her new book Don't believe her, I'm reading it now!! Lol I love that you confidently cook chicken now ❤ lol I change out my PJs every 3 days too!

Well, when I was your age, I changed pj's every other night or so. However, I find myself changing pj's through the night for the last 15 years. Menopause is grand. The lighter, less restrictive are the golden star. Sleeveless. 😅😅😅

Protein and beef gelatin for hair growth! I eat 100g of protein per day and stopped coloring it. Now my hair is fuller and stopped falling out like crazy.

You should wear a silk or satin bonnet to bed to protect your hair and/or have silk pillows. It really helps to provide damage to your hair

As a curly haired girly I try to only wash my once a week but wetting it in between to rejuvenate the curls (yes I body shower everyday lmao)
