This has been asked a lot so don't worry. I am working on it in the time that I have but between college and other things that I get occupied with (games, other projects, irl issues, etc.), it's becoming more difficult to find time for me to work on it. I posted an update about the progress in the Community Tab on my channel so if you want further details, you can go there. To sum it up though, I'm combining Part 1 & 2 together to make a Part 1 Director's Cut (or Part 1 DX for shorthand). I'll be changing up some things (shots, animation in general, etc.) from Part 1 and add on the continuation of the episode (part 2). So, it's gonna take a little longer for it to come out as a result, but, much like a lot of things, it's gonna take time. Animation takes a very long time to complete so all I ask is for everyone's patience. It will get done when it gets done. I wish I could give a better answer, but this is how these sort of things go. -Nick

it's nice to see it finally done after so long it's just an amazing piece of work and just beautiful but the part where Sona turns to the window while sitting up in bed, the tentacle movement felt unnatural
You managed to make me jumpscare when that girl slammed the locker, you put efforts in details as well. And yet, you put these into all the video so congrats for me. Astounding work.

I have never seen a Splatoon video which is so amazing like that thus far. It has everything to be awesome. Great animation, good story, the characters are immersive, and just so nice to see it. The only thing what bothered me it's the dialouge which was a little bit fast to read it, but overall it's a fantastic video. Keep it up, health and happiness! ;3

This is probably the best of SFM animation yet,and that’s coming from a guy who usually cringes over SFM!The animation was sharp MOST of the time,it was not choppy at all,this was worth the wait and I’m down to watch the rest of the series,but MAYBE a little less sound affects for talking?It kinda gets repetitive and annoying at times
It's very clear that time and effort went into this, and I have to say, you did a pretty good job! :) Also, I'd like to point out some constructive criticism if I may. I know this is your first *BIG* animation that you've done, and that this took some time to put into, however I feel this could really help you for future parts and any other animations in the future. :) To start off, I feel one slight problem is that there's a lot of space in between various scenes that go on for a little longer than they should. It just seems like a bit of a waste of time in terms of the length of the video. Try to keep track of things like these, I'm sure it's gonna come to a point where people will start complaining about it way too often, and nobody wants or deserves that. :) Second, the volume for various audio clips are rather inconsistent. I couldn't hear if something was going on in the background when the school scene came up, so I had to turn up the volume. Once I did, the start of the locker scene felt like a god damn jumpscare. xD Basically, try to balance the audio levels whenever you can, turn up the volume a bit for things like ambiance, and turn down volume for things like sound effects. Lastly (and this is just a suggestion), try adding more music to other scenes that focus on environments and other subjects, to add a bit more mood to them. Nothing major (or minor for that matter), but just something I'd recommend. ;) Other than that, again, you did a pretty good job. I'm sure as more time goes along you'll only continue to get better and better, so just keep on going! Till then, I'll be waiting patiently for the second part. ;)
Intresting idea, the animation seems smooth, the subtitles are easy on the eyes I like how you put detailed background characters instead of just generic
This is one of the best splatoon animations I've seen. Aside from that blue guy no one does story all that well. The walking animations and narration weren't that good but the movement was fluid and your use of the limited sound clips was great. Looking forward to the next one.
As I like to say those who wait patiently are well rewarded and this is no exception, this was worth the wait.!! I really like the story so far I find it very interesting, it's pretty much life like, we all go through times like those at some point. The characters are excellent, they look very awesome and I love the personality's you gave them, it fits very well and makes them so life like.
