Just did this now because I have a new ROG Phone 6D Ultimate (Android 12). This still works! You just have to find the Debugger thingie in the settings. Still, Rakuten is still an a**hole for making it hard to transfer Viber messages from one ecosystem to another. Thanks for this!

i purchased the item, followed the instructions of opening finder and backing up, after pluging it in, it asks me to trust the computer, and just hangs right after it still says Failed to Detect your iphone

I did, and then I couldn't log in. Viber don't give SMS code. After many trying, my account was blocked 24 hours. It's so terrible when I use Viber to work. I reported Viber but supporter told me waiting 24 hours. This is really really a stupid app.
It is not fault of the software shown in the video. It is a glitch on the Viber side becuase it is Viber that sends the code via SMS not the software. Hope your issue gets resolved soon. If possible, please let me know if you can see the Viber chats on your Android that you transferred from your iPhone after you get the code and login to your account.
I followed carefully many times all the steps to restore Viber chats and didn't get the screen on Android (Samsung Galaxy S21) to "Restore data" on my Android phone. This software is shit and waste of money! You should never buy this!
That the reason why software is also not able to read your Viber messages. May be try uninstalling the iTunes, install it again and then see if you can backup your data with iTunes.
Viber is a complete bullshit of an app and this software doesn't help either, so save your save some money as the licence keys are expensive and chances are high that the whole process won't work in the end!
