Enjoyed watching this , reminded me of my early punting days with the likes of Harry Thompson Jones , a great trainer for sheikh Hamdan , mentioned . My first bet was a winner , rambos hall in the 1992 Cambridgeshire, and I’ve been hooked ever since .

Does anybody know how Johns doing today? Would of loved to hear his story of what happened after all this? What happened as he moved into the early 2000's and technology started advancing, betting online and the internet coming about, would be very interesting, lived a great life in my book hopefully he's alive and well

There is absolutely no way you can bet like this these days , show a good return constantly and account is shut down, plus the odds are very tight now,gone are the golden days,thanks for the memories when racing was a way of life not a minefield.

Waste of time buying his brimardon computer racing system… promised big winners above 10/1, as stated in the racing post… I forked put over £400 in 1997/8, biggest winner it gave was 4/1.. and not even favourites came in.. when I phoned him later on, he said that I had the old system!!, so basically he ripped me off £400 on an out of date system !!… then offered to give me an updated one for just a few hundred pounds 😂😂.. what a tosser!…

If you look at one of the videos might be part 3/4 we had a Ladbrokes betting slip it was £250 win on a 8/1 winner wizard king, in 1994 probably 750 a 1000 now equivalent, it depended what price the horse was really, we used to have 1000 on shorter price ones

No surprise sadly , nobodies got a chance these days day after day week in week out ,there's so many no hopers winning this fella would go crazy ,cos they don't win on form these days back then yes ,you had chances over jumps back here was big difference between that and flat ,but now there both as bad in fact diabolical and so sad ,for compulsive gamblers will die in the gutter .
