when the golf ball hit the horse with the ROTC guy....classic......i remember laughing like milk was squirting out of my nose...so many other classic scene and quotes that sadly few remember if you quote them
I feel for you. The 70s & 80s I must have gone to over 100 parties with music that good Live Bands. Some were theme, some formal, others parties I thank God for making it happen 🎉
Happy birthday to Peter Riegert. 4. 11 There have been a lot of Boons and Katys, we are grateful for the early lesson. I love Crossing Delancey. It is hard to resist a crisp blue suit. Thank you for your memorable characters and the diamonds they provide through you
ANIMAL HOUSE THE ALL TIME GREATEST COMEDY EVER. I REMEMBER WATCHING THIS AS A KID AND BE ENTHRALLED WITH THE ANTICS THAT WENT ON DURING THE MOVIE. THIS IS WHY I WENT TO COLLEGE.
If you were in college in the Sixties, you can't help but relate to the antics an' fun in this one...the movie is a true classic...the music is, too...
My old college roommate told me that I was part Otter, Boone, Bluto, Flounder, Pinto, and D-Day all rolled into one. RIP to my best friend Tom Armata. I sure do miss you, buddy. Football seasons just haven't been the same for me since we watched games together over the phone - before the days of free long distance in 2001, 2002, and 2003 - as we compared our spinal cord surgeries.
@@scottcombs5395 do you need a hug? Or a safe space? I'm delighted with sadistic glee that you were triggered enough with my comments to tell me that I still don't get it. Please enlighten me. LMFAO!
I m OBESSED with this film too. Its great.. I love this song...get s my engine going for sure. I jump till I break something...LOL.. its good to be 64!!! JUMP!!!!
This scene is just so f-ck yes! Dope AH monster cover track from an equally monster sndtrk. Thanks to our thoughtful host acidefreaksame-year-I-was-born. Oh, and it goes without saying Animal House is the ultimate cinematic college comedy bomb that created an entire genre.
@@petersonlafollette3521 whaddya mean? "Otis Day and the Knights was created as a fictional R&B band to perform in the 1978 movie National Lampoon's Animal House."
About 3am my college room mate & I were going back to the dorm after a toga party. We stopped at a convience stop for something. The guy at check out gave us a good twice over & asked what we'd been doing. Obviously we were togaed out. Told him, toga party. He said I gotta go to one of those. ;O)
I vividly remember my mom taking me to the movie theater to see Animal House when I was ten! 😂 Half the movie she was trying to cover my eyes saying she had 'no idea' that it was going to be 'so dirty'. Funny because my whole life I've always had an attraction to older women. I honestly think think seeing Dean Wormer's wife hooking up with the college student 'Otter' planted that seed in my mind...🤔
As a mobile DJ in the 80's I played this song about halfway through my set. Always. Always. Always brought down the house. (But first I had to explain what the crowd had to do) lol
It is anything but woke. It’s just bullshit, pure bullshit 😊, no storyline, nothing relatable, nothing worth watching! Animal House is a superb example of an ACTUAL movie.
Yeah I also remember being able to talk about movies without it being some kind of political statement. So you want to stop being a bitch and just enjoy the clip?
I'm that old. When movies were fun. At the woods party looked at like I lost mind!!!!!! Guess what all the country folks were sangin and dancin. At a bonfire
Oh shut the fuck up. Yall don't know what woke even means and just attach that label to anything you don't personally identify with. There are still plenty of good movies being made.
In a simple statement... NO! When Carol Kaye says "You suck" to your face, you need to realize just how poor your skills are. Gene, there's only one consolation i can give you and thats... Nikki Sixx. And you can always go back to your real name and hide out in the Temple as a Mohel. Rabbi Chaim Weiss, has a certain ring to it.
I am so glad I was the right age when this movie came out. I am now over 60 yrs old, and still LOVE this part of the movie! Great music!

Me Three!
I don't know why, but I've been OBSESSED with this film. I feel like it's an icon, an artifact of history.
