I started growing this in my paludarium attached to driftwood. Just doubt what would happen to the mother plant when separate the pubs, do I need to throw away the mother plant? Repot the mother plant?
If the mother plant is completely dead u can throw it away but if it still has life leave it as is
Thanks for your reply.
This information is great! Thank you so much!!!
Ur welcome 😁
Hello!!😃
Have gone past this plant many a times while visiting the nurseries. Didn't know much about it. Tomorrow I am coming into Bangalore. Will be visiting a colleague near Vimanapura. Wonder if there are any nurseries around. I will be visiting nurseries to pick up a few things and maybe a few plants.
Are there any particular plants which can ward off snakes from the garden? If at all you know, kindly let me know. Thank you.
Closest nursery would be APD in Jeevan Bheemanagar...lemon grass, onion and garlic
@@Urbanscapegardening Thank you very much for your prompt reply, my friend. Appreciate it. 👍
Am looking for these in Bangalore. Lalbagh does have some but quite expensive. The APD in Jeevan Beema Nagar also does not have much variety. Any suggestions where I can find these?
MM nursery Sarjapur
@@Urbanscapegardening thanks buddy
hi thanks for the tips. Are these in fact Air plants? as in the potting medium or none at all is possible for this plants survival?
Soil is fine but we'll draining please
@@Urbanscapegardening do you think wall mounting a bromelaid with the roots wrapped around a basket sphagnum moss would be ideal?
Yes
Tilting the stale water every 3 ...4 days and refilling will prevent rotting as it is very prone to rotting quickly .
Last month I bought 5 kilos of chopping coconut husks for my bromeliads. I keep them in my store. Recently when I want to use them I found white fungus at the coconut husk. I poured hot water inorder to get rid of the white fungus and dried them to the sun but still the white fungus were there. (1) Is this white fungus harmful to the bromeliads? (2)How to get rid of the white fungus?
U can use a fungicide...but I don't see any harm...
Please make a video on spanish moss.
Sure
I have this. Now I know the name. Thankyou
You're welcome 😊
Same care for Cryptanthus?
Yes 👍
My plants start to rot if water is filled inside the cup, what can be the causes: high mineral quantity in water or something else. Thank you 😊
U have to keep renewing the water. Minerals could burn the plant try using distilled water if u can or RO treated watet
Why is my bromeliad burning out
Plz update on moss collection
Spanish moss u mean ? Soonly
