They were in MO1 and I used to stock up on the blunt arrows tips to make them and I loved them cuz I'd always use them against annoying Plate armor users cuz they did so much extra damage with my MA.
My Mooncatz character just got dismounted over and over at undercroft today xD I was confused and wondering what I did wrong. This video helped me through that and realize that I am just bad at the game xD
The materials of the sword doesn't matter as much as what the sword type is. A riser sword is going to be much more deadly than any other type of sword because of the higher blunt damage modifier on the sword inherently. So looking at the type of sword is going to be more beneficial to you than trying to figure out what the sword is made out of in a general sense. Earthquake as well as all other dismounting magics have a cool down between when they can dismount you again. If a mage earthquakes you off a horse, or uses Boulder, you should immediately get back on the horse before the timer runs out and they can dismount you with the magic again. The same is not true with melee dismounts. If you get dismounted with a melee weapon, there is no cool down, and you can get dismounted the second you get back on the horse. Essentially, if you get dismounted with earthquake get back on the horse as quick as you can, if you get dismounted with a melee weapon, do not get back on that horse.
The topic of blunt tips for lances is somewhat unexplored.🤔 Is it reasonable to use a lance with a crown-shaped tip if you are facing an enemy in steel armor ?
Hello wolfszeit, i'm a mounted Lancer and need to look for %dmg rings.. as you said the Lances have a unique way of damage assessment because they are piercing damage that count as blunt upon impact charge. So.. for improve their damage i should buy rings +% blunt or pierce damage?
for lances pierce, but im sadly not sure. But the pierce of the lance got convertet to the blunt so it would make the most sense. But not 100% sure sry for the vague answer but star vaults code is sometimes a miracle and a disaster at the same time.

I started with a mounted mage earthquake beastmaster build but currently I like lances more. Earquake just takes too long to charge and the people will just change direction...
who cares if an ma with blunt arrows can dismount you, with the mastery tree and trinkets they are fucking shredding horses anyway your horse is dead already, atleast we could have an arrow to have a chance to dismount them
Fact is they shouldn't make mounted combat specialized at all, it is dumb, just remove specializing in mounts and everyone will be equal and you won't have dumb fights when it is foot vs mounts. Also dismount time to get up is stupid.
I quit this game because of dismount mechanic. I’m tired of getting dismounted and basically not be able to do anything and getting killed hella fast while my character is still lying on the ground or trying to get up
when you are a fighter and you wearing heavy armor like steel with ironfur second material instead of silk than people will have it harder to dismount you
@@WolfszeitYT I do wear that and it’s them damn mages that cast earthquake on me. I don’t mind getting dismounted I mind that I can’t do shit for 5 seconds and get killed instantly

I think blunt arrows could be cool but they should be for longbow only. MAs with blunt arrows sounds like a nightmare lol

They're developing themselves into another "illusion of choice" game.
Earthquake should require more damage than 5 to dismount.

Not only is the population at an all time low but it fell off faster then at any other time.
Risar greatblade. Tindremic Messing blade and core. Dismount guaranteed. Around the same damage total as tungsteel, but a little heavier.

if you would use a blunt head on the lance i guess than you have 100% dismount i guess xD
What about Boulder? Last time i checked boulder aggregation elem spell was able to dismount (blunt damage)
What about knockback resistance? It isnt in the game yet? Whats the difference between knockback and knockdown?
