Thanks for the comment, I think it turned out great! I touch on this in the video but didn’t get too in depth. I used the original sensor in the truck (because it was the electronic variant, not the speed cable type). I found a pin out diagram on Google Images, and hooked the speed sensor wire (Speed+) to the wire on the pins for the old cluster. And the Speed- to Ground. This yielded a working speedometer, but not accurate. Then, if you look at the manual, you can config for GM products and it corrects the error in Speed. Then I was 100% accurate comparing to GPS! This worked well in my case, on the 1978 Jeep pictured I used a aftermarket speedometer sensor to interface. So each vehicle is a little different! What did you wire the alternator into for it to show the voltage?
The voltage is signaled from the power circuit to power the digital gauges, no special wiring required!
So I got a question about the speedometer, how did you get it work, by the way the gauge looks awesome with the truck
