Meniscus Tear (Exam) Bucket Handle Tear

Here is a 21 year old male who 2 weeks after his injury with a bucket handle meniscus tear.
✅ Mechanism of injury: Pivot and twist with a planted foot.
✅ Presentation: Pain in the medial joint line. Swelling. Warm knee.
✅ Knee range of motion is 35- 125 degrees. Cannot extend the knee

I also had bucket handle tear also acl tear and did surgery 6 weeks ago now it is not painnig and my question is that when can i walk normally

Does every MM bucket handle tear require a surgery? Recent studies do suggest that conservative treatment is just as good if not better than operative when it comes to most meniscal injuries!

I have done extensive research. It is an automatic surgery. The longer you wait the worst it gets and will develop arthritis. I had bucket handle tear
