- We begin by riding the tide down river on the on the Itiwit 3 inflatable kayak avoiding any floating debris in the river on this post Storm Mathis overnight adventure. Sure enough and soon enough, the rains arrive. With no tent and no tarp, I utilised the Kayak for shelter - soon discovering the puncture I repaired had not been repaired! We used the G2 Folding Firebox camping stove for warmth and cooking in a night full of light rain before morning brings it down heavier!

Great video. I would have put that folding mat under the inflatable one to possibly avoid any type of puncture.
It looks a little cold for camping! That’s a great use for a kayak! Thanks for sharing
Dude, your videos are absolutely brilliant, keep up the great work.
You should have been a Duck bud, LOL.
Adapting to any situation is any essential skill to master, and one that needs constant practices and revision. Using what's to hand for shelter like the kayak is a good move in rough conditions. As for the Grub, you can see why a seasoning pouch is a really good idea to take with you. You don't need a lot, some chilly flakes, garlic salt, black pepper, mixed herbs, smoked paprika and some curry powder are what I carry. You may not be able to make a duff meal great, but you should be able to make it bearable ! Enjoyed the Video as always Bro, keep up the good work.

Ah man the rain! Love camping in the rain but when it's week after week..need some sun! I do believe the next couple days are sunny so going to try take advantage of that before more rain next week! Good call on the seasoning pouch, going to start getting into some cooking again so a seasoning pouch will definitely assist! Hope you're all well brother!
Nothing better for morale than a nice hot brew on a shitty day 🎉
Well made video looked fairly comfortable tbh...👌
Can’t imagine not taking a tarp for plan B small and lightweight worth it . There’s a reason troops complain about Rations after more than twenty years service I’ve not bought one in almost another twenty years. Have fun stay safe.
These videos are always super inspiring to just get out there and do somthing, and have a bit of fun. Hope you had a cold one after this bro, you earned it after all that rain!
Here the definition - a canoe of a type used originally by the Inuit, made of a light frame with a watertight covering having a small opening in the top to sit in.
Great stuff
great work
😂😂😂 12:50 welcome to the Army 😂😂😂
Head first bro you got it you’re in the Bivi so most important to keep your head and upper body as dry as possible
Great video. I'm interested in trying canoeing myself. Did you have any training before you took the boat out or did you just go for it?
I would love to go kayaking but not sure if I would want to do it in an inflatable kayak to many things in the rivers where I am from or even lakes a lot of alligators
Last inflatable Kayak I owned busted in a seam , i could not patch it because of that .. duck tape got me home with it tho
That’s a canoe a kayak is able to eskimo roll 😂😂😂
Everytime I went on a Kayak and I always bring a large and medium tarp in case I decided to camp I usually put the large tarp over the Kayak and the medium tarp I used as my bedding and bring things as well that i might need especailly food..
A Kayak is enclosed and a spray skirt is used 😂 for water proofing and required for Eskimo Rolls 😂😂😂 just like the Clockshell heros used
You went back on the water with puncture :?O
The only way out 😬 wasn't the easiest of paddles back, a lot of drag! Thanks for your comment 👍
@@ManDogWild Just surprised it did not sink :D like that is my only nightmare on inflatable kayak :D I bought pack of selfglue sticks, but no idea if they would really help :D . Smart way to use paddle as support for kayak to make tent! Am wondering if I should buy also some kind of cheap "tent canvas/celt" like 3x3m and I could just throw it over kayak and just use some tree branches to attach it to ground, that would make full tent x?D . Also just saw guide when one folk just took rope connected 2 trees and throw that 3x3 over, just like some first aid on rain :D . Btw that lamp looks cool as hell :)
I reckon you'd be golden with a 3x3, should cover it nicely! As you mentioned in the other video, it would make a super comfortable area! The lantern is pretty badass, it was shining in my face the other night and I remembered like hey, just angle it down! Sorted 😂. Will have a review out on it soon but if you're interested before that, it's the Klarus CL2 👍
why can’t you just buy some more Ration packs ?
Not a Kayak it’s a canoe a Kayak you can Eskimo roll 😂😂😂
Rumble.
