See it annoys me because my school friends don’t get it when I get shivers from music because it is so musically good but my band friends just sit there and melt and swoon over any good music because we are all in a brass band 😂😂 thank you for posting this stuff I love watching it ❤️
Hey friend, that's a bit of a tricky one. Braces will create additional layer between your teeth and gums making it pretty much impossible to keep it flat. My suggestion would to try and stay away from pieces that contain very high register. Focus on practicing other areas like breathing, flexibility, tongue and fingers. When braces come off, incorporate high volume of range exercises to catch up. In meantime, try to focus on keeping your teeth more open as you go up. Be aware, you will end up putting more pressure on your lips at the top just because braces will prevent you from keeping embouchure flat and the only way you'll be able to compensate for it will be by flattening it up through mouthpiece pressure. Again, be very careful and controlled in how much time you spend playing high, otherwise you will develop a lot of scar tissue. Hope this helps at least somewhat. Best, M
Hi friend, I did not get mine from the website. If you want, I can help you find a good distributor though. Feel free to email me at euphonium.legends@gmail.com
I can only say woooooow i wish i can play half so good like you its incredible 😯 And Euphonium is still the best Part affectionate regards from Switzerland
Tuba for the win, simply because the valves are so much bigger than the Eupho, but the Eupho is second with the toy instrument that is the cornet is third. In my band i call all the cornets toys. I can respect all their skill when i hear them.
What mouthpiece do you use? I saw a video you made 3 years ago and you said you were gonna make like the perfect mouthpiece or something and I’m trying to find the holy grail of mouthpieces😂
march 1st, 3pm, montour high school, west hills symphonic band under the direction of Clem Rolin and Tom Snyder! will be a good time 😜 but seriously, love your playing man hi abby
Around 20min a day for more complicated sections for about a week or 5 days. That's normally how much time we get before first rehearsal. There are normally another 10-15 pieces to practice so we have to manage how much time we can spend on one piece at a time :)
Does anyone know who this was composed and/or arranged by? As I would love to see if I can find a European Brass arrangement of this or put one together,
For the triplets -Euph of course. Tubas were a bit ‘muddy’. Just wondering what types of tubas are being used? In a British Brass band I’d assume the EEbs but your band seems to not have the conventional instrumentation.
How much do u get paid from this? Just a general question I'm aiming to be a musician and I play the tuba. I'm the best one in my school and get this I started last year I started on trumpet then baritone and now Iv found my voice. TUBA!!!!!
Is he faking through the 16th notes? I'm sure I just don't know how he does that but counting his fingers and the notes on the music it looked to me like he skipped some.
Tuba has it hardest by far for playing like that and they still shredded it. Tuba wins!
This comment is before the ad finishes.
Tubas alway win.
😜😜😜😜✌🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Those notes are CRAAAAZY, I still don't understand how you can play that fast😂👍
Probably lots of playing it very slow behind the scenes
Long tones lol
I have played tuba in almost 20 years, Euphonium and Baritone even longer. I'm out of breath and having an aneurysm after this. Bravo.
Comment after watching:
TUBA PART 😳😳😳😳😳
(And you were even smiling😜😜)
Definitely the Euphoniums/Baritones. Just cuz you're playing ;)
I love that you always smile in your performances. You are so wholesome!
That horn part at 0:36 was amazing.
Came here to say the same. Just amazing
I love the feel of 12/8, this is so great dude
Good to hear the music of my homeland played on Euph. Of course, I'm talking about Tennessee.
Very nice playing!

Which section has the best triplets??? Let me know!!! Enjoy friends and don't forget to like, share and comment. Have a great week everyone! M
I think the euphoniums definitely had the best triplets.
The guy with the fastest fingers was the one who got fired for rushing
Thank you for adding the notation on all of your pieces...
Do you have trombones in your band
Hey! Nice video!! Also I'd like to ask if you have any tips with playing higher notes on the euphonium with braces? Thanks!

@@Matonizz Thanks!!
Your Tone is so good. I can only wish!
Hello Matonizz, I decided after trying it out, that I'm buying a Jupiter XO, which website did you buy yours off of?

Always Bass (tuba) do the rest even count as real instruments?? 😉😉😂😂
Brb, I need more practice
I can only say woooooow
i wish i can play half so good like you its incredible 😯
And Euphonium is still the best Part

Bravissimo!
Who Is the arranger of this piece? I absolutely love it
me 2

Hey friend, my mouthpiece (Parker) is custom made so I don't think you can buy identical to mine's yet at least but it is very close to Parker 5g 51d
You and your euphonium section partner play is if one instrument, even on the fast passages! (Not to mention the baritone section as well.)
march 1st, 3pm, montour high school, west hills symphonic band under the direction of Clem Rolin and Tom Snyder! will be a good time 😜 but seriously, love your playing man
hi abby
This is not because I play tuba, but because of how he/she hit the high notes on that big of a mouthpiece, and the heavy valves.
I’m a lead baritone player at UNA and this intimidates me severely 😂
とても美しく素晴らしい演奏だ!早指尊敬します!
Amazing!
hi. i also play euphonium, and i love it. but i am not as good as you though. i am only in middle school. and tips for me?
Sreekar Achyuthuni Have nothing else to do so you just practice constantly.
thanks
@@sreekarachyuthuni1905 Keep at it!
how much time did you spend preparing "The Emerald Isle," and how did you feel about the 12/8 time
Around 20min a day for more complicated sections for about a week or 5 days. That's normally how much time we get before first rehearsal. There are normally another 10-15 pieces to practice so we have to manage how much time we can spend on one piece at a time :)
I can only imagine the trombone parts being whole notes all the way through the 12/8 section....
I find it harder to do triplets on Tuba so Tuba wins
Wow!
Imagine playing this part on trombone
Does anyone know who this was composed and/or arranged by? As I would love to see if I can find a European Brass arrangement of this or put one together,
Are y’all in the market for a Bass Clarinet?
U still da best :)
PERBACCO!!! (WOW !!!)
Is that an all brass band
Tubas won 🥳 y’all both did great though🙂
Matonizz this probably has nothing to do with the video but by any chance do you know when the euphonium YEP-201 was made?
Actually I think euphonium is faster
But all of you are the best!!!
Can someone help. I dont know where to get practice sheet music or online practice music for euphonium without having to pay for it :(
What is the name of the song?
Ya know, you are pretty cute... while you play euphonium. Your face lights up! Hope to meet you someday.
I need sheet music

It’s about who had the hardest job based on the comments but that’s all I know so far.
Why only video the euphonium, no video of TUBAS??!!!!???
Probably because he can only afford one camera
I couldn't play that fast even on my clarinet, let alone my brass instruments.
How much do u get paid from this? Just a general question I'm aiming to be a musician and I play the tuba. I'm the best one in my school and get this I started last year I started on trumpet then baritone and now Iv found my voice. TUBA!!!!!
Goddamn music teacher gave us music sheet similar to this, im not trying to practice fingering that fast😭
Is he faking through the 16th notes? I'm sure I just don't know how he does that but counting his fingers and the notes on the music it looked to me like he skipped some.
I say tuba wins because playing fast on a tuba is REALLY hard to do because it is so big and they played just as fast as everyone else
