Ive always had iPhones, I’ve never been bothered by phones, just followed what I’ve already had.. but the last couple of years.. after seeing the phones Apple has been bringing out.. it’s just ridiculous. Get it dude I've been a Apple fan for 5 years now and just a few days ago I switched over to Android at first it has a learning curve but after awhile you get used to it but so far I'm pretty impressed

Got one last week and it's solid. The Samsung software seems to have improved quite a bit, to the point that I've learned to just embrace it instead of viewing it as "bloatware". Their email and notes apps are really quite good. The "secure folder" is also something that now I don't know if I could live without.

Great review, great phone, except for the price. I did get a kick out of "I take great care of my gadgets" which should have continued on with "except when putting them in snow or water".... :-) Okay, it would work really well for me at work for doing the videos on our cars, who knows maybe I will win it!

So far it has been a pleasure watching Samsung, Apple and all the other big boys coming up with new inventions, designs to woo us while also continually refining and improving on existing technology. The S9 is evident of what man can do to improve on what is already considered the best,in this instance, the S8. Thank you for the review Linus.
I agree on implementing a 4000mah or more battery
Battery size doesn't necessarily mean more endurance. If you tuned the hardware to use less power while still putting out the same or better performance, putting in a bigger battery isn't always the best use of space.

I'm considering getting the S9. I'm currently using the LG V20, which I still love by the way, but I'm just need something modern, more advanced and different.
S9 or S9+ is a great choice. In my opinion, it's the best phone at the moment

Oba Kodjo I was also V20 user but image retention made me feel like i wasted my money. I am extremely heavy user so image retention was getting worst day by day. Also that phone was bit laggy compare to my previous phone HTC 10 & OP5. Honestly speaking V20 doesn't have that premium feeling for the price.

How is the refresh rate on the screen? I am very interested in the phone's specs and camera quality but I've been spoiled by razer...the 120hz is insanely smooth. I don't think i could go back to anything less than 90hz

Otherwise good all-rounder but they introduce ability to make GIFs in S10 just like the Note 8 instead of AR Emojis.
Not the best in everything but the best overall phone so far.

I got the s9+ on Black Friday for 529.00 with Verizon. I waited for this deal. No trade required so I sold my s8+ for 400.00. The 6gb's & stereo speakers made the difference for me. Very happy with my choice!

went from a iphone 7 to a s9 plus and happy with it so far. Maybe cause I switched from apple but bixby itself never bothered me after I disable bixby home at least cause id accidently press the bixby button when taking pictures

Only thing that sucks about this photo is that when you're watching anything on it even if you're under shade the curvature of the phone catches the light and you can see an annoying line of light and it is very distracting cause it crosses the screen

This phone is awesome!! I’m so happy with it. no complaints from me whatsoever. and the battery for me is great too. maybe i’m not such a heavy user so i’m able to get a full days use out of it without charging or having any power saving mode on and there’s no lag at all so far

Hi.. I am from Indonesia. i have an issue with the samsung s9+ (same s9) and i have complain through the feedback on samsung apps. by the way thank you for all your reviews, helps alot.
the issue is notification isn't shown once you open the apps, all apps. example Whatsapp; once you open and back to home sceeen no matter how many messages you have unread all notification gone. not only Whatsapp but all apps; messages, emails, instagram.
i was hoping you realise this and put on your review so that samsung realise this matter. i looked on google and alot of users have the same problem and they don't like it.

Yes, you're totally right. I am having S9 plus right now, no complain at all, i love it so much, eve6the battery is a lot better than s8 i used to have but bigger is better. But with all the features it has we have to accept it with what it can do for us and the price in Canada is not bad if you compare with apple

How does galaxy S9 plus click pictures in low light zones?
Been using the S9+ for about 2 months and overall I am VERY happy with it. But I'm a bit disappointed with the camera. It tends to overexpose shots in auto mode and the camera interface is a bit frustrating at times: when touching the screen to focus, it changes to selfie mode. That can make you miss your shot. On the other hand, it's a champion in low light.
One of the most useful feature for gamers is Navigation key Lock. While searching for navigation key lock app for my Google Pixel I came to know that only Samsung phone has this awesome! function. It is really helpful cause you won't accidentally press the keys & lose match or progress while gaming. Obviously rooted user can disable soft key, but I don't root my phone so as to claim warranty if needed.
This is great for I can be able to work on the important things in college. I believe this will work for anyone that needs to use this phone for business, art, or even college.
