This has got to be the most helpful video with the most annoying music ever lol. Can barely hear you mate! Thanks for the effort on making it though and teaching us. Highly recommend turning down the music in the future :)
so if i want to use this engine in for example a 2cv. the loom is different. i could use a modern three phase reg/rect unit. connect the three wires from the alternator to it. one to plus and negative of the batttery & i could add a wire from the ignition and send when turned on send 12v to the df terminal to power the alternator ?
Thanks for posting, blueisbluer. A little constructive criticism here: I lost track of how many "this wire"(s) you have on your motorcycle.You might consider identifying "this wire" by color, or by using a pointer
Yes, although they're forward-facing fuel outlets used on later models. This not the way to teach beginners the essential habit of cleanliness. I rest my tank on a car tyre or motorcycle tyre laid down flat, to keep everything clean & unstressed.
