There are a few great, knowledgeable car enthusiasts in show biz. I guess Hart’s people got him a great deal with Discovery, and discovery is trying to milk motortrend far beyond just niche car enthusiasts. I hope they don’t cancel any good shows to make room for low quality stuff like this. I was hoping the new top gear was as worse as it could get. Nope just the beginning.

9.52 out of a 427 BBC, LOL. My stock bottom end Pontiac 455 with a 470 lift cam went 7.90s on red line tires. This show is a joke. i thought this times were slow so i thought it had to be a high elevation track but it's not at 750 ft above sea level.

I realize any of you were alive in the mid 60s. During this time, a craze started called, turns. This is the father of drifting. No way drifting started In Japan. There were several tv shows with power turns/drifting in those programs. There were a few of us learning to drift on motorcycles on the pavement, not dirt.
