Paying someone to build a car is not even in the same league as building one yourself, not even close. The fact still remains he didn't build it and cannot take credit or even share in the same conversation as a individual who did... In car circles especially when talking hands on tech this does matter. It's no different than if he bought Jimi Hendrix's guitar and can't play it then is compared to Eric Clapton.. He's not one of us..

I first became a mopar man in high school in the 80’s. They were considering lame around that time but I didn’t care. I had a 85 Chyrsler Fifth Ave🤓😂.
