I am an Asian, but have studied a lot about Rwanda and its past history. All I can say about Paul Kagame is that he is not Just a president or leader, but he is a STATESMAN. Rwandan soil is fortunate to be blessed by this miracle which is called Paul Kagame, who gave them stability, built a nation which was already wounded and destroyed. Took not revenge but banned the Ethnicity from ID Cards. Developed the generation which became too mature that I am sure Rwanda will never go back to hatred times of 1960-1990. Even when Paul Kagame is no more. He will be remembered in golden words when time will come to write his name In history. My best wishes for people of Rwanda- please protect what PG built for you in last 3 decades. Thanks

And can't just rule with out elements of hate from those who initiated genocide, and another pressure from people who looks up to him to bring them justice on evil acts of 94.
How do you campaign against the regim on behalf of the people that you are not living with, if it's not finding something to hide your 94 crime against humanity.

Journalist seems to ignore that Rwandan diaspora in Europe is divided into pro and anti regime since 1994. In Belgium for example there Bars reserved for hutus. If these people threaten each other, how can this be on the account of the government of Rwanda? These people haven't followed reconciliation efforts that happened in Rwanda.

what haters? Since when did political opposition get renamed to "haters"? Need I inform you inyenzi's that we're living in the 21st century and there's this thing called democracy now? You know, this thing that allows human beings to freely express themselves and voice their opinions and concerns without fearing having their head chopped off? Try to keep up with the times will ya? As for the "haters", it's not as if they don't have a valid and legitimate reason to be " hating" considering all the bloodshed, corruption, raping and looting that Rwanda has done over the past 30 years to destabilise the Great Lakes region, all committed by the bloodthirsty inyenzi tutsi's!

His first was from 1996 to 1999 and he then stayed in office continuously from 2009 to 2021, adding up to just over 15 years in total. David Ben-Gurion, the founder and first prime minister of Israel, comes second for time in office at 13 years and 127 days. Yitzhak Shamir was Israel's third-longest serving prime minister at 6 years and 242 days. Paul Kagame is a miracle to this country which cooked hatred for many decades, seen the genocide as consequence, and in no time the country became a successful which is an inspiration in modern times. Sometimes western media start behaving in judgemental way to criticise person with expectations as if Rwanda has been a western country.
Paul Kagame has taken this country to this place of success by acting sensibly (and not revenge), so I can understand his point of view being so cautious not to destroy the whole effort due to elements of devils who oppose him. God Bless Rwanda - God Bless Paul Kagame

This documentary is biased and one sided. Peter Verlinden was interviewed but was never asked where all his hatred for Rwanda comes from. His wife Marie Bamutese, who's real name is Marina Bamurebe is from Bugesera, on the Rwanda and Burundi border. She claims her parents (all whom were Hutu extremists) were killed by the RPF. But through testimonies of her old neighbor, her father was epileptic. He died while they were fleeing to Congo (ex Zaire). Her mother died of illness a couple years later while in a refugee camp.

The fact that Rwandans under Paul Kageme have achieved some considerable long peaceful rule, to me they're not yet out of the hook, particularly with respect to the monstrous term "Democracy" the bedrock and foundation of political ethnic hostilities, because of such hatred borderling on Kageme's leadership conditioning him as a dictator fueled by Western powers can still be devastated.

  • @StevoCappuccino

In recent history, Western nations have often interfered with promising African leaders. But today, we have an African president who's committed to the betterment of his country. Instead of backing him, some Western actors try to create divisions among Africans. It's crucial to distinguish him from past dictators who plundered, wreaked havoc, and left their nations in ruins. President Kagame is in a league of his own, and any effort to draw comparisons would be futile.

They scoured all of Europe for a handful of individuals who could say the worst imaginable things about the person who vanquished them or their parents during the genocide. Not that hard. Could be done about any leader, even in your own country or anywhere else. All it takes is a media organization determined to do so, like the editor of this dutch state agency obviously is.
