Hello, my Bernina 830 Record / Electronic from 1979 does not show red dots? Is this different from the Bernina 830 Record. And is it safe to just put oil to the area you pointed out?
Helpful review
Do you know why my wheel is not cominicating with my needle. For some reason I can’t move the wheel.
Just bought this machine. I love how you explain where you can go wrong and how to remedy as we all do that. Thanks ever so. It is clever :)
a total disappointment, it had been bought to make lingerie, the teeth did not have strength, I just put a little fabric on top of another and took it out to the side, it was sent to technical service and they made thousands of excuses, on the subject and they never acknowledged that their The product came out bad from the factory, I don't know what Bernette's policy is, never admitting that a product came out defective, I say this because at the same time we bought an overlock from another brand at a lower price and it does the job without problems, what could you tell me about it?
Can the 1630 feet fit on the 830 record
@@peggytil No sorry. Wrong size.
I must have missed something because I am looking at how to adjust the upper thread tension and haven't found it.
Thank you for this tutorial. I've learned things I never knew. I'm embarrassed to say I've had my Bernina for 10 years and used straight and zigzag stitches for everything.
Hey Robin, when you were trying to show us how to put it back in the shuttle, your camera blurred and also when you were showing how to put the bobbin back in it blurred so all we see is a blurry picture of your hand just something for future reference. I love your videos I bought a 475 back in November and I just bought a 770 QA plusin June, because my 830 died so these videos that you’re doing are extremely helpful
Great tutorial, very clear. Please keep them coming
Really great video thank you. Glad to hear you are doing some on the uses of the different feet
Just inherited Mom's 830. I used it often many years ago and loved it. No manual, so this is awesome for prepping. Thank you for clear instructions.
@@garnetwalden141 You are more than welcome. Enjoy every day sewing.
Why does this machine only have one air threader? I thought all sergers had 2 air threaders, an upper and lower loopers.
Crafting is exactly what I want a serger for, I’m still undecided of which one I want or can afford.
Awesome, my first BERNINA and I’m lost.
Hi Robyn , I am looking for a manual for my Bernina Favourite , would you know how i can download one❤
Hi i just bought a Bernina Favorit for $200 1:
Thankyou for showing me how to use it as i have no manual ❤️
Very clear and helpful 😊
You are missing the cord and pedal caddy that fits around the arm, and you forgot to push down the spindles which can then be pulled back upl
This video has helped immensely, thanks so much
Bought one of these in 2020, haven’t really used it much and finding it hard to motivate myself. Really could do with some more tutorials at a slower pace to follow the instructions fully.
Hello Robyn! Thank you for the awesome video and wonderful explanation on how to use a vintage Bernina sewing machine!🤗 I was wondering is this Bernina 740 of yours for sale? Keep me posted I’m very interested!! Have a great weekend!!
amazing!
Thank you so much! I have this exact machine and I cannot figure out the bobbin. My machine is attached to a table with a motor, so it makes it harder to load the bobbin. Is the green base on your Bernina part of the original?
This dress was on my ToDo list since the free pattern came out a year ago. Yesterday I started sewing with your great videos and the ons of the advices! Thank you so very much for this great video 🤗 And especially thanks to the pocket pattern, which is just great! The only thing I changed: I overlocked my pockets, I didn't trust that linen to not fray even when cut with the pinking sheers 😁 And I'm wondering, did you cut the V of the dress when done with the stitching? As you do some fabulous things different, I was wondering here, as I couldn't see it. This is actually my only wish, that sometimes I could've seen more the front, as what you were actually sewing and not the back of the sewing machine 😁
Good day The bobin keeps falling out , what can be the reason ?
Excellent.I have this machine. Thanks for doing this tutorial. I had it serviced before I stored it. I will have it serviced again before I use it.! Hi from South Carolina, USA.
Hi , how to a insert my bobem it keeps falling out ?
Thank you Robyn! I'm trying to find why my record has started knocking, will try to change the speed as I see some day that could be the problem.
Can you baste in the hoop with this machine and how? Thanks
Great little project! And a great idea to put away clothes for the season.
Fantastic tutorial and overview. Just what I was after. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge!
Very inspirational video! Will do this one, this winter! Promise, it has everything i love to do!❤ Thank you so much!
What stitch are the stamens? Turned out great!
What stitch is that on foot 20? The pink one? The first one? Were they embroidery stitches?
Just a splendid video! 2 fun projects!
Will try soon! Thank you so much!
Beautiful, quite Joyful Heirloom work
