Data engineer guy really said that perfectly engineering is about software engineering + data. Yup that is 100% correct data is your single most important thing to be cautious about in todays world
No, until an Ai not has the creativity and intuition will no be able to replace data scientist and software engineers because sometimes to analyses or créate you have to go out of the mold to get the expected outcome
data science is a prerequisite for AIML without the data the LLMs like chatgpt and other would not exist most don't know about this and straight jump into AI stuff without fundamentals and failing
@@TechnoSan09 Every existing LLM can write the code for creating ML models and write the code for training them. I actually recently created an LLM from scratch as a project and Claude 3.5 wrote 70% of the code for me😂
you can be sure about most of the peoples who working in data industry will be unemployed but data science never will die cause data scientists are peoples who created artifical intelligence :D
To be able to perform decently as a data scientist youve got to have a solid statistical understanding. Thats big know-how if you think about it. I dont really think its the case for normal data engineering roles.
@ so am I right in saying essentially both need to know software engineering but scientist doesn’t need to know it as deep as they focus more on statistics. In other words statistics skills greater than programming skills. Where as the engineer doesn’t know statistics at all, and is expert at programming
@hanzocloud on average on my point of view data engineer has better understanding and technical capacity about architectures and backend. But need to mention that it is easy to switch that role from backend engineer even devops in my opinion. About data science you need a half decent programming skills and decent statistical understanding. Being a rare combo, it requires higher (such like md at least phd preffered in many positions), hires less and pays more. Simple economics.
Im just curious, now that anyone can be a developer since AI converts human language to code how are these jobs AI Proof and some AI models can operate Operating systems, is it only a matter of time till a person with zero coding experience but interested in this field combine AI tools/models and still handle the work data analysts do? ( Many responses encouraged)
People without coding experience will be able to use these tools definitely but for advanced use cases, people who can code and who know how these models work will still be needed. And there's also the aspect that these AI tools will need to be maintained and built by people who KNOW HOW TO CODE.
they know less about how the backend part works but more of the front end, which more important for clients and end users, they also need good communication skills, think of it like a car, the engine and internals is the data engineer while the external surface and what the driver experiences while driving and interacting with the car is the data scientist
Data scientist: Python + SQL+ chat gpt 🎉
😂😂
No, he didn't include many other things because maybe he isn't needed in his current job

@Obed-u7v I am just scared...what if there is too much coding for me to handle?..😅
@Obed-u7v thank you so much...today is the last day to take in your minor subject...you helped me cleared my fear a bit...

Dear sundas
You r amazing influencer and mentor
Data scientists need R too.
Power BI
It is already too late 😂
No man, just python haha. And nowadays just gpt 4 to give you the code to make the plots
For what? Python is "one Ring to rule them all".

I love the Data Scientist T-Shirt
Too late for what?
same confusion
For get into this role, it's not easy to onboard anymore.
Is it true that AI will replace data science and people should not study data science
No.

How does the scientist make 73k more than the Engeerier?
Didn’t you just have a video of the dude off the left saying he makes 600k??!?!
He said the average salary for this role. Not his salary.
The question was average
Data engineer need cloud knowledge too
I like Zach's personality.

Who kept your name
Can you please list the skills of someone interested in power BI data analysis??
Video about data sciences - only asks 2 guys. Thats ironic

Wait, did he just say chatgpt?😂
can relate with gpt...lol
I’m already subscribed to the dude on the left. What a coincidence

How will AI replace what creates it and is responsible for making AI smarter?
🤣 the data scientist is my spirit animal
Zach makes 600 k an year
The two roles have many similarities, why the scientist get paid way more than the engineer ?
data scientist have to dumb it down and communiate with the end users/clients etc
