This exact spec RS3 saloon looks 10/10 Guys do you remember Vag tuner live event at Donnington a few years back, it was one of the most amazing VAG events, absolute dream event inc track action. Hope you guys can try to bring it back one day!
They have a Stage 1+ for min 98 RON and they claim 500 bhp with GPFs on but with upgraded intake and intercooler and DSG tune as well. Nothing about this one?
What was the bang noise at 2:11? Have heard the same on my RS3 while doing launch control but cant figure out what it is, have "only" happend twice now for me.
its old but i tought and iam keep getting blamed for pushing 100-200 only 9.58 seconds consistantly at a DA of 1145m with a slope of 2.3 uphill. Seeing this close to DA 120m is a bit concerning...
From everything I've seen about them so far, they do seem to be reliable, I don't own one though. I'm still in the research phase like you, but I've seen a lot of good things about them thus far.
So what your saying with your guys model is you guys have a more restrictive air intake and ares isn’t restrictive, so Americans get the better car is what I’m hearing?
We haven't had any issues over the years, but we recommend the servicing and regular maintenance of the vehicle is carried out more often with a tuned vehicle.
I agree tbh, I ran an 8.4 no hardware stage 1 . with stage 2 hardware not mapped in and turbo elbow it runs 7.9 (should get a 7.7 but only tried it 4 times)
It appears the rear differential go so often on Audi high performance cars which could be an expensive experience. My question, isn't there a fix for this when modifying Audi high performance cars ?

Wow.4.07 stock is the slowest I've seen on a rs3
Wasn't the best run or launch.....ideally they should do 3 runs and average it out.
I agree 3.8-3.9 is pretty standard for stock RS3 although he did admit he isn’t the best driver.
Very cold tyres! 👍🏻
Cold tyres, you can see and hear it slip. Yet the tuned launch, warm tyres, no slip 🤔
Bad Road It's wet Tires are probably cold alot of factors can play a role but mostly the road being wet and bad
Great videos! Next stage 1 vs stage 2 would be good to see the difference
Great suggestion!
Cold tyres on the stock launch, warm tyres on the tuned launch 🧐🤔
Can’t go wrong with a rs3
1/4 mile untuned 12.15s
1/4 mile tuned 11.46s
Even stock the 0-60 shouldn’t be that slow ☠️☠️☠️
we gave you the live data from the runs we did, possibly cold tyres or poor surface
@@awesomecars1 ty for responding 🤜🏻🤛🏻, it was spinning every time it set off
You obviously don't drive if you think 4 seconds is slow 🤣🤣
@@shanemurray1768 go be a clown somewhere else
@@shanemurray17684 is slow for an rs3😂 my big ass diesel does a 4.9
Most standard rs3 I've seen do 0to60 in abt 3.7 3.8

Deenethorpe looks a little chilly on the day
I would like to know if after installing Stage1, has the unwanted lag reduced considerably?
not if you keep the stock tcu flash on it. Has nothing to do with the ECU. It even gets worst if you just flash the ecu
Hi does stage 1 ecu tuned car require tcu tune also
Should be done yes because a stage 1 increases torque a huge amount 133nm 33 percent increase
Thankyou for your kind reply

Sounds like wheel hop. Has happened to my rs3 once aswell.
that cold weathers helping those mph's lol
Great comparison
thank you
Also seems quieter after the remap 🤷

Engine wise yes. Transfer box and rear diff can fail costing £3k+
But they be refurbished with uprated bearings if caught early
@Food Dip what are signs of those failing? And is that the most common, or the first major thing that usually fails in the lifetime of these cars?
So what your saying with your guys model is you guys have a more restrictive air intake and ares isn’t restrictive, so Americans get the better car is what I’m hearing?
Any longevity issues with tuned cars? Whilst I appreciate still within safe engine parameters etc.

Stage 1 vs stage 2 😁
soon!
why no tune specs!!
Stock isn’t too far from what it should be, but stage 1 is. My stage 2 s3 is running better numbers
Can defo do 0-60 faster stock, bogged right down
Very nice, can you get a Mk7.5 Golf R estate on, I'd love to see standard to tuned.... :)
POssibly, we do have the Golf R 7.5 back to back done recently!
Nice video again chaps
I have a Rs3 8v and it’s great to know the difference from stock to tuned
Help me decide which option to take.
Nice, yep a stage 1 is usually the best bang for your buck mod
What are the HP
Nice video
Thanks
Does this tune have a pop on down shift? Just in aware some other tunes have an ‘enhanced exhaust sound’ on down shifts? On DNWA cars
9.21 is terrible for stage 1 Jheeze

@@jasonelliott8101 yeah they run from 9.5’s- 10.5 stock
Lovely motor, but was expecting a bigger difference in performance tbh
This is the OPF version bear in mind, which is why the numbers might be slower than the non-opf
