I stay awake late at night in California to watch your new video releases. Your calm voice, experienced knowledge, and the fabulous Camera Lady's filming have become my "Happy Place". A long time watcher and former tarantula keeper.
Wow, thank you! 👌👍
And she has little pink toes! Love it!
I wish Creature Comforts would do a video based on your spiders in the Beastie Room. Various interviews that went something like "I've been with Dave and Camera Lady going on 4 years now, and I must say they're really nice landlords." 😊❤🕷️🕸️
That would be cool!😂❤️
I’m so glad you do not say if you’re comfortable your spiders comfortable. Thanks for speaking about tarantulas enjoying warmth and light that they are seen out basking in it and you’re right they enjoy higher temps. Great video. Thank you for sharing.
So nice of you thank you 🙏
Sehr schönes Tier. Du bist so ruhig im Umgang mit den Tieren. Respekt
Thank you 🙏 ❤
She is an amazing spider. Very calm. Thanks for another great video 💙
This is a beautiful spider and a beautiful house.❤❤
Oh, my goodness, she's quite massive! I wouldn't want to see anything that size running across the floor! Thanks so much for sharing!
You are so welcome!
She's a beauty Dave ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Psalmopoeus are my fav species.. I have the irminia, cambridgei, reduncas, emeraldus, pulcher, victori and ecclesiasticus... the irminia was my first ever T, named her vicky.. she's gorgeous and my fav to this day.
I’m currently in hospital and when I watch your videos it makes me happy knowing how well you keep your animals but also the love and compassion and dedication and heart they are a credit to you and everything you represent
Thank you I hope you get well soon my friend ❤️👍
Bless you and have a speedy recovery 🙏💕
She was laying a thick web already, when she first entered, can't wait to see her web after she has settled🕸🕸🕷👍👍😉
Wow, she’s a pretty one! It’s funny-I was reading about these tarantulas a few minutes ago & thinking, “how odd, Dave’s spider acted nothing like the literature says about these? Where’s the fiery attitude??”
But it tends to go that way in the Beastie Room, eh? They all pretty much behave for Dave. 😂 🙌🏼 Can’t wait to see the pairing!
I got my first victori sling just last week. It's already sporting its lovely fluff. ❤
I would love to see another video of collecting goddies from the nature. Will that be possible in the spring? Have you been planing it? 😁
Eventually we will
Now she is a beautiful spider, I really like her colouring and condition. Aside from the spider, I really enjoyed Camera Lady’s new found confidence in pointing out you having left the lid off the spider! 😄👏🏻 Thanks for the tips about heating cables, etc. I certainly know that my ‘room temperature’ is nowhere near what would be needed.
Glad you enjoyed it
Such a beautiful big girl 🕷! Thank you for yet an interesting as well as informative video, dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady! You both are amazing 👏🥰🤗❤️!
Glad you enjoyed it❤️
@@daveslittlebeasties 👋❤️👍

Thank you 🙏
It is good to see more glass back. Beautiful spider.
Great video guys thank you so much beautiful spiders xxxxx
Our pleasure!
Shes a fantastic looking spider dave n camera lady, the half n half colour was evident after she opened up transferring there, my psalmopoeus (irminia) im quite sure should be on antidepressants of some kind 😂 can be a handful 👍
Morning Dave & Camera lady wot an amazing rehouse video hope ya day goes well for u both
She is a beautiful spider, just chillin' she knows she is in the beasties' room. Good job!
She is very pretty.
I absolutely love this species. It's been on my wishlist and will probably be one of the next species I order.
Great rehousing video. Green moss and super calm spider when everyone else's is so feisty 😂
❤️❤️❤️👍
You just have to love the psalmopeous genus they really are a cracking bunch of spiders I love them and can't wait to get more in my collection again
Very beautiful. I've never seen a adult one before. Looks very nice❤
I love watching you create enclosures. You have a keen eye. That spider is a beauty!
She seems calm and has obviously come from a good home.
I can't find the translation for some of these Latin names is there a site that tells us the meanings and origins of the words. I was taught Latin but am stuck for some names.
Thanks, Dave. 👋 Hi from Redmond, Washington.
Hi Dave, and Camera Lady. She is a big girl, and very pretty. She was very calm. Really nice enclosure. Looking forward to seeing the pairing of her, we with a male. ❤🕷🕸Cindy USA
Thanks 👍
She is VERY gorgeous just love her colouring. Also saw her silk as she left the box very beautiful
Thank you so much 🤗
😊
I was wondering if Lady Spider was hiding with her knees over her eyes! And yes, of course that makes her invisible. How dare we question her stealth! She is a regal and beautiful spider, very calm and cool. She had quite a skein of silk ready to go that trailed into the new enclosure. I wonder how many strands they are capable of?
I have an adult female Victori in a 30x20x20 she is active during the day and has webbed up the whole enclosure using moss to make curtains.
big fan of this genus and species!
I'm in hospital very poorly at min and so feel better when I see your videos amazing spider 😊❤
I hope you get well soon ❤️❤️❤️
May Jehovah bless you with a speedy recovery 🙏💖🐸
Brilliant Dave , and they certainly are a beautiful species of spider 🕷, and should make for a fantastic breeding project, anyway Dave another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
I’m so glad you did this species, I just picked led up a tiny sling a few months ago and absolutely love it. Such an interesting species. Yours is GORGEOUS
Fab video Dave. Was awesome to see a adult female, I have two juvies so was surprised how big they get!
Dave and Mrs Camera Lady! 😁👋🏼💞
magical spider PROFF, the one i have is very defensive. some great information for the hobby from your point of view. another great easy enclosure. great footage CAMERA LADY, the half n half project starts. many thanks guys and take care
So nice of you
A big contrast in behavior compared to the funnel webs you rehoused a few days ago. I'm amazed at the different moods and behaviors of the different spider and tarantula species.
Great video Dave, the Psalmpoeus is one I really want.. I love all the red Trantulars, if I'm honest.. I think they are beautiful 😍. ❤
I love my Psalmopoeus slings 🥰 hope to see them grow up into big bold spiders! I‘ve got victori and irminia ❤
Beautifully simple setup for a simply beautiful spider.
Many thanks
Interesting coloration. She seems mellow.
She's stunning! 🕷🕸
Ill be honest, I'm desperate for an egg wirh legs video. Something tells me we might have a run soon, fingers and toes crossed 🤞
Absolutely gorgeous girl, she looked like she had just left the hairdresser her leg hair is so shiny! All of your spiders look so well cared for, do you comb their hair nightly, I was just stunned by how shiny she looked! ❤
Its all in the food 😂👍
I have a sub adult irminia female that made her house up top inside a cork round. Never saw her. Until she wanted to molt. For two evenings she wandered around her enclosure and settled on a spot on the GROUND, to make a tent for molting. I think she wanted to use the leaf litter and moss to build with 😂
Maybe she realised she needed more room 👍
@@daveslittlebeasties yes I think you’re right, the cork round was a tight fit. I have since stopped using rounds and use halves instead, or bark from the woods. 🙌
I have a juvie female of this species. I can’t wait for her to get big like this! I spotted her out the other day and was very happy to see her
She's deffo a stunner Dave n even your Ts enclosures have fitted carpet great vid .
I wonder why they didn't name Xenesthis immannis, the Columbian Lesser Black, the Darth Maul tarantula.
That spider looks WAY more like him!
My first T is a p. Irminia. I'm loving her with respect
Love the look of her
Very pretty spider 🤞🏻 for successful breeding project
Such a simple but beautiful enclosure 😊👍🏻
Thank you! 😊
She's gorgeous ... so spiders her size don't require room to move great distances?
She will just chill in her enclosure
Marianne NZ
Hi, that's a very nice and beautiful spider! Thank you very much.
So nice of you
Look at the amount of webbing she is putting out 😮
Hello great video information rehousing Dave
Glad you enjoyed it
She is cute!!
She is absolutely gorgeous Dave❤❤❤❤. Unfortunately I lost my beautiful P. Irminia recently. I had pneumonia and a1 virus so I couldn't hardly even take care of myself. My sister who usually helps me was sick too and spent like 6 days in the hospital with what I had. Then somehow I ended up with bronchitis, still not over that. But anyways, I lost her n 2 other's. All three were favorites. I'm still heart broken. Loved ur setup as always too. Tyfs God bless you
Sorry to hear you have been unwelll hopefully on the mend now ❤️
@daveslittlebeasties ty. I hope so too. Time will tell 💚💚
AWESOME video Dave shes a STUNNING T
Dave she is gorgeous
❤️❤️❤️
Heh Dave! I just wanted to ask if you say a spider is 5-6 inches is that just body or do you mean leg span? sorry for the silly quesions
.. best regards to you both
Good question I measure leg span often much easier
lovely beastie
👍🧚♂️💖
Beautiful spider, i've never seen that species before.
Thanks for watching
I love your videos! I don't know how you keep up with it all!
😊 thank you
Hello 👋
Great video as always I love when I fall asleep early and get surprised with ur vid in the am with my coffee lol good morning well here in the US it's am but not for u anyhow hope this message finds u and Camera lady well keep up the great work as I progress in my keeping of these amazing arachnids I've found myself primarily only watching ur channel I used to watch a handful of people however it gets old after awhile hearing all the same nonsensical stuff that I know to not be true and it's very frustrating to me so no matter how much I may enjoy the other people's as people but I find I can't watch the vids like I do urs idk how common sense and process of elimination has apparently eluded the good majority of folks that are in the hobby as well as with reptiles and just exotics as a whole Ive found that when someone doesn't necessarily know how to do something and they have to research the information there seems to be this good majority of peeps who throw common sense and natural problem solving out the window which blows my mind its like i just do not get it .. I'll never forget the first week or so I had my first few spiders I was trying to work out exactly where in my 2 rooms I keep my exotics in I wanted to keep them and for the time being I had them in my lizards room and they were somewhat close to a heat source for the room for the lizards I remember noticing that the spiders were all I say all I only had 3 at the time however all 3 were sitting on the side of there enclosure that was closest to the heat source and that was the first thing I remember noticing that was out of the realm of what is recommended now I moved them back downstairs where i also had some lizards however there wasnt an individual heat source warming the room just each individual enclosure (for my lizards) and i did not spot them out on the sides like that so I put a heat source in a diff spot to warm the area around their lil enclosures and sure as shit boom same behavior on the side of their enclosure facing the heat source so I began to implement heat in the area lol idk its seems to be lost on so many of.these people simply bec "SOMEONE said if ur comfortable ur spider is comfortable" which to my logic makes zero if not negative sense lol we are not arachnids so I don't understand the relationship that these "PEOPLE" are trying to make when they say that nonsense
Much is just regurgitated nonsense thats been read on google unfortunately much of the information out there is just that regurgitated rubbish 😭
She’s a big gal!beautiful though ❤
Hello Dave, great video! I'm curious as to why you didnt put a drainage layer or plants in the enclosure? Thinking about ideas for my P. Victorii 😁
It was only becouse I had none to hand also many avics web a lot so plants are not always a good idea 👍
When can you do a seladonia video or a B klassi
We have done a class video
@@daveslittlebeasties link? I can’t find it
😍
I always thought that the whole “if you’re comfortable, they are comfortable” was hooey. (Trying to be polite here.) It just didn’t make sense because spiders are kinda like fish, they need warmer temperatures.
Hey Dave! Out of curiosity, wouldn't you need a drainage layer since you're using live moss? Or will you let it dry out?
Not with moss so much more with plants 👍
🖤♥️🖤♥️🖤♥️🖤
Hi Dave, I don’t have a Victorii, but I do have a cambrigei and a female irminia and they both live in a deep burrow. Maybe it’s because they are still juvenile? I’m reluctant to add any more from this genus because I really don’t see them. I only see the irminia if I go in my spider room at night after the lights turn off. I only see the feet of my cambrigei, if at all. Hopefully they will come out more as they mature
They often become more confident with age 👍
All the P.cambridgei that I have had, have burrowed. I knew some people, years ago, who went on an authorised collecting expedition in Trinidad. P.cambridgei were mostly found in hedges, rather than trees.
🕷🕸❤
How long do they live for?
We would be looking at around 8-10 years I should think 🙏
How can a spider nit slip on glas walls? 🤔
I'm want to know what are the beginner spiders are again?
We have done a couple of videos on them
Ok guys, like 👍🏻 and subscribe! Dave always has something new and interesting to share, don’t you want that notification?☺️🩷
You're the best!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Would love to use green moss in my enclosures but every time I used it, I've had fungus gnat problems
are you using springtails? overtime the springtails will outcompete the fungus gnats
@@shsd7579 yeah springtails along with isopods. It went in for months, caught hundreds on sticky tapes above enclosures while drying out the substrate. Still didn't work so ended up throwing everything out and starting again
