I have owned Harley’s since 2002 and this is the first I have ever seen a demo like this. Great Job and many of your followers love how you share your motorcycle experience with us!! Do not stop and I hope that one day you can leave your day job and this can be full time!! Best Wishes!! 🙏🏽
Don't call them crash guards. Call them bag guard and engine guards. You don't have to crash for them to work . Working better for tip over . If it is a crash its other stuff to worry about.
Could one of y’all do a video with just the front flat out bars installed tip over demo? Given it’s so hard to get hands on the rear saddle bags guards right now. For the people that still want to go ahead and upgrade the front guards while waiting. And maybe even a stock chopped crash bar tip over demo comparison BTBOYM.
This is great information, I hadn't seen those flat-out bars before and glad to see they do a good job should they be needed! Prior to arriving in Rapid City, be sure to make a stop at The Dignity of Earth & Sky Statue is a stunning combination of art and history. Located on a bluff between exits 263 and 265 on Interstate 90 near Chamberlain. Also, plan a fun rest stop at The Corn Palace in Chamberlain, SD. Take in as many of the popular sightseeing routes around Sturgis, but plan to go as early as possible during the week and go early morning the day you plan to ride to beat some of the traffic congestion from all of the motorcycle riders + cars/rv's on the road too!
That's definitely a great mod👍🏿. You all are getting those miles in!!! We got a glimpse of the content room😁!! Y'all stay safe traveling and enjoy every moment!!
Nice video Ms.Tiffany n I love how u treat everything around u with respect thats rare even tho we suppose to do it most people still don't. 💙🙏 #TIPSQUAD
Awesome demo I just got the pearl white rg with black out pipes Was thinking about getting the rear set like that and keeping the front mustache guard. Like your content and stay safe on the road
The new style is superior to the old style. I had the old style with the motorcycle drop guards installed and had way less clearance than the new style. It finally happened to me the other day, backing out of the driveway I lost my right foot and I was able to drop it slowly down. Not one mark on my bike, or the bars. The ends are extremely durable. I am stoked on them,
Since I don’t ride a Harley (Kawasaki) I will say they are cool looking for sure and gets the job if you fall over, but I still kinda like the old style crash bars, great vid hope you all had blast in Milwaukee
I totally appreciate HD getting into the crash bar game, legit good stunt cage stuff. But I would still buy a BungKing crashbar like that's on my fat boy. It saved my bike from a High side last year.
I got tired of waiting for those bars to be back in stock at HD so I went with the same style bars from Santoro Fabworx. Hope not to ever “need” them. Thanks for the demo. You’re so brave to tip it over on purpose.
Great advice from @BrittNelson1 with regard to getting an early start before the “partiers” 😴 get out of bed. Get info showing area rides; plan plan plan. Needles Highway, Iron Mountain Road, Spearfish Canyon; Devil’s Tower; Custer State Park (buffalo) just to name a few. I’m just passing through Sturgis area but rode through Badlands today. On my way to Yellowstone tomorrow; doing Mount Rushmore and Custer Park.
I appreciate this video cause i have both on mine and I was wondering the same. I even added a little length to them just cause I’m paranoid! This was great to see 👍🏼
This was a great advertisement for the bars , all I can say that, when you are with such a big crowd and everyone want to go everywhere and see everything , it will slow you down ,so you can plan a lot but you may not be able to ride everywhere , there is always next year. safe travels . ps. I rode to Sturgis a few years in June and I rode all over without traffic or wait times .
Congratulations on being able to go to Sturgis this year !! Those guards will definitely help protect the rider and the bike in the event of a tip over . You all have a safe trip to both events .
I'm getting a Harley next year (it's a toss-up between Road & Street Glide) & I'm DEFINITELY getting these flat-out bars! I've never liked the old bulky traditional guards & I LOVE the streamlined (yet FUNCTIONAL) look!
Mrs Rene, great content, as always. I have a question: had you ever considered a lighter bike that you could still tour on or was "EJ & Meg" your first (then second) choice? Thanks in advance.
Did you do the same to the other side for clearance of the primary? I am very torn about these- I’m afraid these will be too busy looking but like the idea of peace of mind. Oh - I also have the Sharkskin ❤️
@@tiffanyrene you mean look better. They are not proven yet. I think because they stick out that they are going to catch the pavement and cause more damage in a slow speed crash. I do like the look but still have my doubts. Love your bike and channel

Forget the bike, it keeps the bike from crushing your leg when it goes down.
That’s what i was thinking. You kinda have a piece of mind about your foot leg not getting crushed
👍🏽👍🏽
Fantastic day's ahead and be safe on the road

Good video. Very informative. Believe it or not, I was planning on doing a video on this same subject.

For the trip to Sturgis, you should do a daily vlog on the ride up, raw and uncut. Real world type vlog
I was thinking about something like that if time permits
