The change of cast was a surprise but there's quite a gap between the recording of this series and the third. Still very good and I'm glad you posted them. I hope you find more similar adventures for us all to enjoy👍😎Pete 🤓
Thank you. Agreed. The change in cast, particularly hearing Ed Bishop as Doc the first time was quite jarring, but you get used to after a short while. I've a few other similar stories in mind to share here, over the coming months, so keep 'em peeled.
Thanks for the work involved in posting these series it's certainly does bring back wonderful memories of childhood and of being family and listening to the radio as a family wonderful we used to cuddle up to listen to the radio but when we had a television we tended to sit in separate chairs and look at the screen so we lost the intimacy of radio.
THANKS FOR STEPPING BACK IN THE TIME LINE AND SLOTTING THIS IN PLACE AS SPACE CRAFT DISCOVERY - HOPE THERE IS A STORY TO SLOT IN BEFORE JET MORGAN IN THE ARIS IN "FROZEN IN TIME" STORY THANKS

@@journeyintospacefans Aha. I guess earlier voice actors had spent ages losing their colloquial dialects and then were asked to reproduce a cockney twang and that was easier said than done. Course nowadays, you arent English if you dont speak with a London guttural stop.
@@journeyintospacefansOh, come on, Lemmy was always a dyed in the wool Cockney. No question. Listen to his terminology - and his Jewish Jewishness. 'All his Chinas', Straight bundle etc.
I listened to this series in glorious stereo on my hifi system in a darkened room. Great experience.
That sounds like the perfect location and ambience

"what is a monkey. I'm not programmed for monkeys" made me laugh way too much.
😆
£500.00
A monkey is. £500
@@dandennis381 what?
I keep expecting one of the cast to say "Oooh Betty, the cat did a whoopsy on the carpet". Seems like he is channelling Frank Spencer. 😀
😂
@@journeyintospacefans I still listen to all of them again and again. I am addicted.
Bloody great
😀

I love Frozen in time!
thank you very much
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Frank Spencer had a brother I never knew about....Oooo Betty!
He does sound remarkably like Frank 😀
How old is this audio?
This is from 1981
Enjoyed No4 but not quite equal to No1-3 with the original cast
I agree 100%.
*Thanks for listening.*

I THINK A MONKEY IS £500. BUT ITS A LONG TIME SINCE I LAST HEARD COCKNEY RYMING SLANG.😂
Me too.
You don't hear it a lot these days
Yes £500 is a Monkey it's Cockney slang
Ed bishop❤❤❤
It sure is!
"Ere Delboy, wotchu got there?" - new Lemmy
New Lemmy is little different from old Lemmy, that's for sure 😁
Really preferred the new cast to the old. In my head Lemmy was south African right up until he was described as a cockney in series 3 LOL
He was always English. He was never South African.
He has got a specific accent though.

Lemmy was a Londoner, Alfie bass. A cockney Londoner would have a better chance of arranging a private audience with the pope than going to space.
If only someone would write another series did Charles chilton have a son ? Maybe ?
Sadly, without the original voice cast, I can't imagine that it would be as magical as the original.
