- I share with you my raw, uncut and unfiltered first drive of my 2002 Honda Integra DC5 Type R (JDM Import). Shot in complete POV with no words or music, the only sound present is from the high revving JDM K20A VTEC engine.
This run also marked my very first time on this particular mountain road in Mexico but surprisingly when combined with the Type R at the wheel, it was a confidence inspiring yet, a truly exhilarating experience that has firmly solidified my love for this Japanese icon.

Thanks that was fun. Suspension seemed track tuned. Would raise and adjust if you find yourself driving on roads more than track. Look how they hard they run the stock type R on the miroshi youtube clips. Soft smooth controllable. Beautiful car.

Save your cash and buy a type r, you'll always regret it
I don't think you'll regret a type S. They're really enjoyable cars, and at a bargain price. Easily modded to perform with a type R. Stock is fun too though

Are 05-06 Type R's that rare? I NEVER see them.. Whenever I see a DC5 Type R, its always the 02-04 models.
Yes. That is exactly how it is. I was on the verge of buying one but I couldn't find the money in time. I settled for a 2003 model. Here in Cyprus I have been told that there are 35 DC5 Type Rs of which only three are the face-lift model.
@@TheDalitis8 wow didnt know that.. would die to have an original face lift Type R. Gotta settle for turning my Type S into a Type R replica in the mean time... And no, Im not badging it Type R, but I did do the center console conversion, the who front suspension and wheels with Brembo's, and the Recaro's.. Also got a trans upgrade as well.
I owned a Dc5r too, it feel scary when the road surface isn’t smooth and it’s give u a bump steer. Does anyone has eliminate this problem?
upgraded steering rack slider, raise the suspension and get a proper alignment. also consider roll centre adjuster ball joints depending on how low the car is. a proper shop can measure your bump steer and give you options tailored to your car to fix it

And the Type S weighs more, the power to weight ratio is worse than an AU/NZ Type R and those make less power than the Japanese Type R
@@QuakeGamerROTMG the audm type s is actually faster 0-100 than the audm type r, I raced an ep3r in my type s and it was neck and neck
@@EthanMorrison21 hence why he said jdm type R, the nzdm/audm is essentially a type s anyway, so trash in comparison to a proper type R

I think it's not a JDM because there are some Hardrace front lower arms that can't be installed on a JDM...
Unfortunately I think it's a Type R AUDM version
Notice how the side repeaters are clear, they should be Amber. And notice how the side mirrors have that stupid zoom glass on the corners. Only aus and usdm have this
