Regarding your underwater housing, it is best to put weights on rhe housing itself so it is neutrally buyant and it will be more stable. Otherwise you will still be fighting it since the dome at the front will want to go up. There are kits to attach weights available from the different manufacturers. Great videos, thank you for the entertainment!
@Richard Pickersgill i have a strap on mine in case i drop it. The best thing for a stable video is that you can just let it go and the camera will stay there without moving, otherwise you end up over correcting and becomes shaky. And the weight has to be at the front due to the air in the dome. I am far from a pro but that is what i learned from a pro.
Great video! It's so pretty there. I'd love to hike that ridge and snorkel in that beautiful water. I like the 360 shots. It's especially good at pulling back and showing the whole boat, dinghy, scene. Just another thing to mix in. Side note: I know you try to keep it PG-ish so you might check the lyrics on the song during the snorkeling scene if planning on using it in the future. ;)
Just a suggestion on the FPV drone. When you bring it in to land, first let everyone know, then fly it straight through that huge companion way to the saloon table. As soon as the table is in front of the screen, bring it down for a landing on the floor. If you are that far in, you know you are safe without it bouncing down the sugar scoops. Great video.
Very nice trip and video. Maybe it was already asked in comment, asking again, is that important to seek mooring instead of using anchor… current/depth issue or peace of mind?
