I'm 23 years old and wear Kouros. Man, I love it for some reason. Obviously I was just born at the very end of the 90s but when I first smelled it a few months ago, I just knew this fragrance was old. And I wasn't even surprised when I found out that this fragrance is almost 1 decade older than me. But anyways I love it, and I wear it on colder days when I go out, 6 sprays. Great review man!
Tasted it 🤣 So true. Bottle always reminded me of the white pedestal that a greek statue would sit on. Milton Lloyd do a cracking clone with The Man Silver. Dirt cheap for basically the same scent. Another great video Paul.
Not only is The Man Silver a good alternative, but DIRTIER as well! As crazy as that sounds because even current Kouros is still macho masculine no matter what the Kouros fan-boiis say!! Here is another suggestion : Rich & Ruitz Sak Pase. It's a slightly more refined version of Kouros. It smells even smoother than current formulation and definitely smoother than Milton Lloyd. It is closer to Gucci-era formulation (pre-L'Oreal era). Rich & Ruitz is a branch off company to Al Haramain. Just a fyi to those folks wondering if there is a cheaper alternative out there to the King!
@@cirealreviews1776 What I get from the Man Silver: In the opening I smell something like a slight scorch burn scent that will eventually fade for the most part but at that point it already spoiled the experience. What’s left is a skin scent that kinda resembles the Kouros dry down. It’s not bad. But it’s not good either. Will try Rich & Ruitz Sak Pase some day.
New formula lasts about an hour on me! I have loads of vintage and the vintage aftershaves out perform the modern edt's easy..and smell much much better..great video though sir!👍
If you want easy going then just stay away from Kouros. It’s strong and has balls and offensive and manly and daring . If you want safe get one of these unisex safe fragrances they sell now.
Body is a brilliant Annick Menardo creation . At times the eucalyptus is dominant. At other times, the woods and at other times the incense. It is very unique, but comparable to Visit by Azzaro.(also Menardo)

Funnily I just picked this up, talk about beast mode I could smell it before I unwrapped the plastic wrapping. It is retro, but at the same time it smells....bright if that makes sense I wanted something to wear in the last of winter (where now in spring in the UK) but its still cold going into spring. I like retro no so many folks wear it.
What is amazing about kouros is how many women want to wear all of our fragrances not understanding that it’s the difference in scents that is attractive. I wear this one to piss women off. Why? because they don’t have the balls to wear it! Lol ( see what I did there) this is for MEN nuff said. No woman wants cat piss and cloves on them. Unisex fragrances can go to hell. I’m going to wear this one till the end of time
Hello! I've 2013, 2015 and 2017 bottle of Kouros. The 2013 bottle with batch code 3286 has batch code only on the box, not on the bottle and the bottle is made plastic, rest of 2015 and 2017 bottles has batch code both on the box and bottle both are Enamel bottles.I heard some bottles of PPR Gucci ( Kouros )had been plastic bottle but why there's is no batch code on the bottle? Can you discuss with your perfume selling friend or people you know who can tell you about this? Please Sir.... I'm from a landlocked country where there are no brands and stores where I can confirm. Please
I think a middle aged man should wear Kouros even though its been around since 81 , im middle aged and Kouros would be my first choice instead of Dior Sauvage which is for young guys . Also it brings a lot of good memories
ive pulled so many women back in the day when i was covered in this ,😂😂it was so strong and complex its an amazing fragrance ...the modern version just lacks the body of the original ,the DNA i still there but its like kouros scented water now in comparison .....chanel antaeus is in a similar vein but more classy and refined

Kouros was the forefront fragrance of the GQ model, not for Al Pacino, or Arnold Schwarzenegger, it was the GQ models of the early 80s, and those who aspire to be like them. Well dressed, elegant, a gentlemen, but very youthful, and at the forefront of all of the cool things that the 80's were bringing in. Cool, classy, and chic. Definitely not Al Pacino. No hairy chests, no gold chains.

It's good. Okayish, I'd say. But nothing like Kouros. It's different enough that it's kinda odd to put 'Kouros' in its name.
