Take you old luggage to a women's shelter or give it to Child Services. Those people usually have to put their stuff in Black Plastic bags
OH, good idea! I have some luggage that I'm planning to "deaccession". Not in good enough shape to take to a charity thrift shop, but way better than plastic bags!
That's kind of a "myth" in a lot of areas ... they want to buy new, uniform luggage for foster kids so they won't take used luggage. They want cash donations designated for that purpose. In my area I couldn't find any organization that wanted used luggage (even though it's in excellent condition).

I don't know about you, but when I travel, I always feel like I forgot something no matter how much I plan, check and recheck. Enjoy your cruise and look forward to seeing the new ship!

I start bringing items down to the dining room table about 3 weeks before embarkation day! I then edit outfits till I have all the days/activities covered and then pack the suitcase about 2 days before the trip.

You're a packing pro. I'm impressed. I'm a total stressball when it comes to packing. Like I can't sleep the night before any trip even if it's just a weekend getaway!
Me too! I never sleep that last night because I have some sort of psychological thing that I can't pack until that night so that's what I'm doing instead of sleeping.

I did 21 days in April/May in the MSC Seaview YC (great Yacht Club, but we sailed from Rio to Rome and there wasn't a lot of "English-speaking activities" like trivia ... we were just a little bummed) and a couple of yrs ago thru the Panama Canal on the NCL Pearl (one of my fave NCL ships) ... we're going for a month (16 days back-to-back - L.A. to Miami and then Miami back to L.A. --- we live in Oregon and are stoked to only have to fly to/from California instead of across the country!) thru the Canal in January on the NCL Joy. Looking forward to seeing what it will be like on one of the big ships for 32 days!!! Can't wait.

I've been wearing New Balance 1080 4e for 10 years. I replace them every 6 months...best shoes you'll ever were.
Tony! You need a pr. of pool sandals or waterproof Birkenstocks! They don't weigh much and are great to slip on for a quick trip to the buffet for a snack or to the coffee shop before you want to put your shoes on.
Tony. You stress me out! I started packing for our upcoming 11 day cruise tour to Alaska a couple of days ago and I’m finishing up today. Thanks for sharing the tech that you bring. As a newer cruise channel, it is nice to see what other creators use. I purchased an insta 360 for the cruise and look forward to trying it out at Mendenhall Glacier and on the White Pass Railway. I hope that someday I will have your ease in front of the camera. Looking forward to your views on the Utopia. 😊🛳️🚢💙

Ohhhh new backpack and new luggage - YES PLEASE. That is exciting. I'm not going until next week and I have 3 new travel purses (with matching wallets) to choose from! My fun bar is low and easy to get over!
I was thinking about this today. Did I really watch a guy pack his suitcase? Well yes I did and I got great vicarious pleasure from it. I don't know when I'll be on a cruise ship because of budget constraints and all so I get to watch you check out the ships for me and I get to daydream about when it will be my turn. Thank you for your fun videos. And props for getting in a workout, great for your health.

I keep a packing list on my computer.. have a caribbean vacation list... cold weather list.. if I travel between weather conditions, I adjust. Each vacation, I adjust my list as needed. My clothes list is 1 week where I can interchange. My new clothes selection is iron free wash and wear and quick dry materials. For now most of our cruise is carryon luggage only. Cold weather will be checked in luggage.

We haven’t had any rain, it’s been cloudy, but no rain! BTW Leave the shirts in the plastic from the dry cleaners, I always do it for my husband and they always arrive pretty good!

Have a great cruise, we were booked on this one, but when we looked at prices, traded the bookings for a Med cruise and a transatlantic coming back to Ft Lauderdale on the Oasis, the Utopia would have completed all the Oasis class ships, but it can wait!!!
Just don't forget your passport(s), travel docs, and credit cards! Anything else you can purchase in case you forget stuff!

21 days…back to back? I dislike packing no matter what trip I go on. I have an Air Mini too. Love the machine but the Humid X filters not so much. I will be doing hand wash on our Panama 🇵🇦 cruise since NCL doesn’t have a laundry 🧺 room. Plan to buy the same vlog camera you have. Looking forward to your tales! I hope your bloodwork goes okay!✅

Amazing what you got in those suitcases for 3 weeks of cruising! Do you have the cruise line press your clothes? I`m unfort a stickler about that but I`m thinking I need to have HA do the ironing next year! And…..nothing like getting the suitcases only hours before you leave! Gutsy!

Packing as a man is so much less complicated than packing as a woman. I’ve seen my husband pack for trips, he puts in his shirts pants socks underwear and he’s gtg, you’ll be fine 😂
