You just can't beat the combination of Jessie and Jay! Wonderful story, and Jay pulls you right into the middle of the lives of these two scheming twin boys.
I think every good book has at least one fabulous scene that just delights. For me, that scene was the one in the shed. And Jay continues with his narrations that brings a style above and beyond any other narrator I’ve heard. With his sound effects, young boys calling out through the door sounding muffled. And the infamous text message beeps! Can’t wait to listen to the next one.
I'm glad you liked the muffled voices! Not to brag, but I was actually a little proud of the VERY advanced special effects method to achieve that - I just held my hand up between my mouth and the mic! :)
Another good book, relationship between man and woman can be complicated without communication, the twins idea was spot on, Dallas character made me laugh 😃 Thanks for sharing 👍🏾
Thank you, and yes, I agree - I'm so lucky to be able to do Jessie's audios and know I'm going to be proud to have anyone - from little kids to my own mom - be able to listen!
I loved watching The Parent Trap when growing up and I loved how this book had a bit of that feel. I liked the look into marriage and motives and how flaws and hasty tongues were showcased. I’m also thrilled to find out that this isn’t the last book of the series!
I just want to listen to this book with you reading it till it is finished - got to go to bed as I have been up for so long and am so sleepy - will listen to more books by you and Jessie.
It’s encouraging to think that twins Dallas and Houston were motivated to get their separated parents back together. The scheme they contrived made me smile. But the best thing that made me smile was that it worked! Furthermore, Jay’s talent with singing in different voices and in harmony filled me with awe. I couldn’t help but smile thinking how wonderful it was. It was very entertaining listening to this story and I think I will keep this smile on my face for quite some time.
Can’t wait till the rest are up and ready to be listened to. This is now going to be my favorite TH-cam channel. Just listen to Mandy Blakes 1000 words OMG Jay you’re awesome!
What a fascinating story. Eight years with Reed on the farm in Missouri, and his wife in France. Twin boys who only see each other in passing every six months. How could this family ever get back together? Thanks for a great read.
Hi! Since they pre-dated our TH-cam channel, they're currently still only available for sale on Audible - but they will be coming to Say With Jay eventually! (It's a fairly long process to cancel the sales contracts and then create the videos themselves, all while recording and publishing new books too - but we're working on it! 🙂)
They both could have worked harder but I see more distance on her side she feels like she should have the last word turning him into nothing she made all decisions like he didn’t matter and that was stupid separating the boys if this was a real story
It's called "It is Better Farther On", or sometimes, just "Farther On". There's some debate over the author, but it was first published in the late 1800's.
Hey, Paula! Jay has narrated all of the books in this series, and eventually we will have them posted here on Say with Jay. (Trust me, I cannot wait for that!!) In the meantime, if you don't want to wait, all five audios are still available for purchase on Audible, with the first four in a boxset together. You can see them here: www.audible.com/series/Cowboy-Crossing-Western-Sweet-Romance-Audiobooks/B08MN3M8BS

I think Mr Jay needs to make a music album complete with " his brothers".

Thanks Elda! (Keeping people smiling) is definitely not a bad goal!

Emerson sounds very cantankerous

What’s the name of the song that the brothers sang?
It's called "It is Better Farther On", or sometimes, just "Farther On". There's some debate over the author, but it was first published in the late 1800's.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you Emma! (Assuming that was five out of five, right? 😁)
Where are the first five books???

Is this series that you can read out of order?
Obviously the principals of this story must be under 40, or they wouldn't have lasted a whole night in the shed. Lol
😂😂😂
