@@IStealButterdToast I'll be serious, perhaps you could try becoming a dev, if you could make it, we'd love another middle-earth game like shadow of mordor and shadow of war.
im currently still playing shadow of war, and when i see and unknown captain, i always feel like its a gacha, if its good and cool, or weird and funny, i recruit. but if its just basic, i kill him. in my opinion the game is very unique and cool and its like a pokemon game for me. so for me Shadow of war is very very worth it, especially if it is on discount. for shadow of mordor, i dont know, havent played it yet.
@@ZenkoiGodI met him once but he didn't mention the wife or kids he mentioned how to the dark lord was going to take over and invade the first area your in so it was a foreshadow for me
Or if you received a downside for not dealing with outposts before storming the fortress. Maybe you get ambushed by forces led by any remaining outpost leaders, and you practically HAVE to deal with them before your soldiers go back to storming the walls/gate.
6:00 i mean, if you think that in Shadow of War Talion already has The One Ring and later Isildur's Ring, which is not the case in Shadow of Mordor this would make a lot of sense...
It would be cool a sandbox game like this just instead of just orcs, a map with orcs, elf’s, humans, and dwarves, and pick your faction to conquer others while the ai tries to conquer you and the other ai s
oh very nice! ive just started playing Mordor and wanted a sneak peak for SoW which im most certainly playing next and this vid recently coming out is a sign lol
I watched this video to decide, which game I'd want to play first, since I recently watched the LotR movies and fell in love with that world, but maybe not enough to play 2 big games. But then I realized I can get Shadow of Mordor for 3,50€ and Shadow of War for 4,50€. So yeah.... I'll get both, it's insane how cheap these two and Witcher 3 are. But thanks for the very informative and fun video!
One thing a lot of people forget about in shadow of Mordor not being in shadow of war is the captain wars/battles where it was like a 5v5 with your captains
The only thing i can think of, as an avid player of both games, is are you referring to two warchiefs with bodyguards fighting? You can't make warchiefs fight in Shadow of War; they're all loyal to the overlord (spies not accounted for). Warchiefs were a lot more independent in Mordor and you can make a branded one fight another. There's also the end-game single time mission with your 5 Núrnen warchiefs, and facing the Talons. Is it one of those?
best part of shadow of war is it is NOT super seriously. Even if you design and make the most awesome orc, you'll find another thats deranged or something thats so funny you forget about all your work. Saddest part is the Nemesis System is locked in behind proprietary permissions :(
SoW orcs look horrible. SoM orcs rocked. SoM captain screen felt like WAR, while SoW's one looks pathetic with its generic silhouettes, reminded me of Heroes of Might & Magic 3 (which was a great game, but that's not the point). SoW might have a better nemesis system and it's bigger, but I feel like it's another example of 'bigger is not better". Very disappointed
And also one time I was fighting a orc and a spear guy was going for the kill then it suddenly froze before he killed me and somehow I was saved by him the name was blank I let him kill me and he’s now really good
Same, had one nemesis that was a challenge and half to fight as his only weakness was explosions and his strengths were combat master, invulnerable to range and stealth, monster slayer, battle-hardened, poison weapon, no chance, and fearless but he kept coming back no matter what I did 😂 Man was a menace
From the description, I think I don't really like the Shadow of War loot system cause the weapons we had in shadow of Mordor are special because they belong to Talion or related to him or Celebrimbor. The sword is his, the broken blade his son's and the bow Celebrimbor's. That made them special and I feel like just giving them more power from runes is still a better option. Like the armor pieces tho, they're sick.
If you haven’t finished the game yet be aware this is a spoiler but close to the end of the game the original weapons get an overhaul to the Ringwraith version and you can keep them or change them out personally I switch out but to each their own
I played both parts for long periods of time. The second part added improvements to the Nemesis system and went deeper into the RPG elements. With excellent artistic direction, but the choice of texture was not successful and it was very clear that the first part was superior in terms of details and graphics, and the combat system in Mordor was also better.
What I love most about shadow of war is the glitches and bugs cause one time I was in a online vendetta then I was on a caragor then I press run at the split second I got on I hited a wall and I got sent flying and the mission was failled
I loved Shadow of Mordor my real issue with Shadow of War isn't the microtransations it was the bloat. It felt like an assassins creed open world and that just didn't work for me personally.
Yo downloaded again shadow of war 4 days ago .. lost my progress … played it today for straight 6 hours done talion level 16… at lvl 16 you start enjoying this game a lot cuz unlock combos which necessary to take fight … before lvl 15 … fights ain’t good
In my opinion, Mordor is better because its atmosphere is darker, its story is better, and it takes up less space on the device. After unlocking all the skills, you will not find that big difference.
I played both, obviously the newer one is better and thats mainly because there are different races of orcs to capture, also I really like Talons endgame gear
@@Al_BauerCOD would be interesting, where as you play and die through the campaign the enemies learn your tactics. Pokemon too maybe where your rival can have different Pokemon to challenge you depending on what you beat them with last time.
I ve Player both games but personaly in shadow of war orcs do the work and u just watch but shadow of mordor actually take some skills and the combat is way better , but both are amazing
Hard disagree with the grounded aspect. You're not forced to use your wraith abilities, so you can play it exactly the same as SoM. If you want to take 10-20 seconds to climb everything slowly like AC, good for you. SoW gives you the option of being able to traverse and get to where you want quickly without artificially bloating your playtime. Everyone always talk about the nemesis system but I think it was ok on it's own. But paired with the dialogue, it was something incredible (it gave NPCs personalities and feel alive). I 100% SoW and in my 40+ hours of play, I think I only heard one line that I thought I already heard. I messed around with the system/dialogue and it's insane how much work was put into it. I feel like they were AC games cranked up a dial, it's a shame we'll never get a third game or a similar game (just like how there still hasn't been a sequel to LotR Conquest).
This criticism is fine, but the fact that you are FORCED to unlock Elven Agility AND verticality is massively expanded, you almost feel FORCED to use it to not feel hindered.

I got Shadow Of Mordor today and i already love it, its so fun. I was blown away by the world and story
I bought it two years ago but started to play it yesterday. I am having a blast as I like Assassin's Creed type of games.
Such a shame Warner patented the nemesis system it had so much potential.
It’s wild
The real kicker is that they haven’t made a game with those mechanics since.

my biggest complaint with shadow of war is that when you take a fort. you should also take the outposts as well
these missions guarantees maniacs
