it really shows the honesty with them, I like Darren but there is just a pattern on his videos of always new balls being the "best". I am this close to get a Ion Max after watching so many clips saying is real good but after watching this video and hearing "this is just too much ball for regular patterns" it really made me think.

I can see how some people call the Max a replacement for the Gem. The House shot will typically never be ideal for a big core/strong cover ball, but could be the only thing that works on the fresh in a tournament with more oil. The two reviewers had to say what they saw, but I think it was a little unfair to throw the ball on conditions that you normally would not use it on...

I love these videos with the different balls and different styles of bowlers, i wish there were more females or one on a few

for the 2 hander in this video, do u use vacu grips and how deep do you dig your fingers into the ball? do u prefer the ion pro over the phaze 2? what would pair better with the vebo for a house shot league?

All great questions! I do use Vacu Grips and I usually am between my first and second knuckle. As of right now I don’t think I have a preference of the Ion or the Phaze 2. But, I do think the Ion can be used for a longer period of time and is a little bit more versatile on house for myself. The Phaze 2 I feel is always pretty good getting to the pocket but sometimes it’s just a bit too early and leaves a ton of corner pins. I think the last question would vary depending on the building you bowl at. I think if there is quite a bit of early friction I would say the Ion would be the better pair with the Vebo. But if there is more friction down lane then there is in the fronts, then I would go for the Phaze 2. That’s also a really good question to ask your ProShop Operator because they would probably know that building like the back of their hand!
      Hope this helps!

Sorry you didn't dig it. We just try to mix things up for some background music of different varieties. It's only on for a few seconds at a time and muted way down during any speaking parts.
