- 500hp Turbo K20 Honda Civic goes to PowerCruise USA 12 for the second year in a row. The Civic is a totally different car this year. Last year we had 270hp of all motor to this year we're at 505hp on 10psi with a 6062 Precision Turbo.

Figured out why I was missing shifts… When running a competition twin disk… you HAVE to run their throw out bearing… not a OEM ONE 🙄

So I have a k24 z7 the most limited k series I think that's out there what are people's feelings on power adders? Supercharged or turbocharged with the restrictive exhaust manifold that's on it.

Dude it’s one crazy event! Lol as long as you can confidently overtake the other two cars you can shoot the middle gap. Check my other video from the previous year! Search 270hp all motor K20. Car was working a little better just not as fast 😂

All you need is 300 to 500 and you can pretty much dominate almost anything.
Especially when only did solid reliable runs at higher speeds
I have a 2000 hatch CX swapping k20 and putting 96 JDM nose on it. Can't wait to paint it Midori Green.. But am loving the color of yours!! I would love to know the name of the color you used. I painted a Tamiya R32 RC that similar color but with rainbow flake 🤗😁😅

Ended up being the wrong throw out bearing not letting me get into gear.. tore up my crank where the flywheel bolts connect to.. 😞 lots of labor for that mistake.

I’m actually running a base RSX 5 speed trans for longer gears to build boost with. A 6 speed I’d have to shift way more often, I also have MFactory LSD in that

Just put a new clutch in & shifting problems are gone! Crank pulley bolt is loose randomly, gotta fix that.

Having a lockout problem in HIGH rpm shifts. Trust me it annoyed me too lol.

I bet it would shit on your car, also did you know the worlds fastest fwd quarter mile (honda) is faster than awd wrx and evo quarter mile. So yeah dont bother hanging shit on fwd..

2nd run with h22 you weren’t reeling him in. He messed up. Miss shifted. Would have been good to see a nice clean run. First you weren’t catching him at all. Second run he messed up.

for still being stock block it was quick as fuck! I love how the ic-7 display looks with the integrated housing,I also have the same haltech display, I hear they have a lot of cool little features and you can always update them with newer softwares when haltech makes new shit
I have yet to dig into it but I'm nervous to touch it ! lol There's a lot you can do that I've seen at least. Appreciate the views man!

Haltech also just recently announced that they just made the ic-7 display a stand-alone unit like the fuel tech units. You should make a video with you messing with the ic-7 features and all the displays they come with lol

@@zkeyes4056 I actually went through two stages! So I was all motor last year making 270 with 3.2 cams, I actually kep those! I think that plus having the 24 bottom is why my setup made the 500 with only 10 pounds

Yow you can see a pick difference with the N/A and boosted pulls. With the N/A they always chasing now u chasing cause of the boost lag 👌still faster though
It’s 100% two different feels. All motor you stick with everything right away & then if they’re faster you get pulled on eventually, now boosted, second gear is pointless & you go fishing with third gear to reel them in 😂
@@TravisMoreno depending how much power you have n/a lol…I’m actually going n/a myself but I will be going fully built 12.5:1 compression, cnc ported head, same exact cams and valve train as yours,on e85, And also managed by a haltech elite 1500 and ic-7 display with all the sensors I can get to keep track of all the motor vitals, hoping to push anywhere from 320-350whp, I might even add a little shot of laughing gas lol

Very cool build, looks like a ton of fun! What trans / clutch setup are you using for ~ 500 whp, very seriously thinking of going the turbo route, currently at ~ 230 whp N/A with my EG k20. Not confident in my clutch / axles / 6 speed surviving
I had a used competition twin that was giving my lockout issues for not releasing 😔 have the same clutch in now & pulls so much better & I can actually grab gears again lol. My axels held up just fine though! Same axels that I had all motor & I switched to a RSX 5 speed trans with Mfactory LSD! I had a 6 speed Type S trans when I was all motor.

Way to keep the missed shifts in the edit…. I was about to say you spent to much time away from it with the build… then I remembered you swapped transmissions….
That’s what’s bugging me, I went from a 6 speed trans to a 5 speed. Left the shifter settings & my cables the same. But I still feel like it’s a high RPM lockout
@@TravisMoreno - I’m sure some seat time will help… seems every trans is a little different on how it likes to shift 👍 If you end up adjusting it to see if it helps you should definitely do a video on that with results… it would be an interesting watch

Now that I fixed that shifting issue (clutch) I’m thinking of turning up the boost from 10 psi to maybe 13-15psi

I think it may be the clutch.. I put in a used twin from a buddy, maybe it’s a releasing/grabbing issue. Winter I’m going to grab a new one, not sure if it’ll be clutch masters or CC again
