FILM DESCRIPTION:
The story of Jody (Tyrese Gibson), a misguided, 20-year-old African-American who is really just a baby boy finally forced-kicking and screaming to face the commitments of real life. Streetwise and jobless, he has not only fathered two children by two different women-Yvette (Taraji P. Henson) and Peanut (Tamara LaSeon Bass) but still lives with his own mother. He can't seem to strike a balance or find direction in his chaotic life.

ChicagoTV It's the editing and directing. Had that sad music been replaced by an upbeat hood beat and Jody been laughing the entire time you would have found the entire sequence funny too. In reality it was a funny scene but the director tried to force a different emotion that just didn't work.

They said it fell under hate speech and they threatened to have my channel taken down etc. When the truth is even though it's only a movie scene and Jody was living and behaving immature and had some growing up to do, I identify with drastic measures as a last resort. a lot of these youngsters nowadays have no respect for elders. All you have to is look around.
