nice work we love our 362 cm . i was looking at a 660 and the 800 but i think a 500 might be the next one with a 30" bar. time will tell hope the night is good and the fire is warm .
I had ordered an earlier 362 with a wrap from the factory. The studs are different as well as the cover, deflector, and the nuts. I am currently working on modifying a wrap cover to accept the captive nuts, not as easy as I was hoping. I also think the larger cover somehow does a better job at deflecting noodles than the smaller version, just my perception.
There is one thing that will have to be explained to me, it looks like your 362 is a mix between the old and the new, namely a 362 and a 362c. I don't know if America wants that. I have a 362 from 2010 and I have the same engine shape as yours, however I don't have the same air filter. Cylinder cooling is not similar between a 362 and 362c.
What's your opinion on the 362 any problems u experience with solenoids n bar oiling issues etc. ? 362 or 400 sthil saw , chuck in u thoughts on the vibrations also ,your thoughts on that please! I thank you in advance Gunter
Been one of the most reliable saws I’ve had honestly. It was lacking a bit for the power to weight, but after the Egan straight shot and a sharp HEXA CHAIN, it perked right up. A 400c is certainly a better saw. If I were to buy new, it would be the 400.
You bouncing the trigger on the screw gun drove me insane… I bet you strip out quite a few doing that foolishness Doesn’t it have a variable speed trigger ffs? Speed control? Plastic screws and an impact into plastic or metal objects is a recipe for disaster as it is add loss of control bouncing the trigger (even starting it) wow…

I bought the ms362c about a year ago, absolutely love the saw! I'd like to change out the clutch cover, exhaust, and put some bigger dogs on it!

My 2022 362R full wrap came with the newer style west coast clutch cover like the 462R or 500iR..

Larger cover is better safety wise when utilizing the wrap handle.

Never owned a 362, but I can't say anything bad about the 036 (I just won't mention the faster, more reliable, durable and much cheaper Dolmar 6100!)
