- Note: This speedrun is for entertainment purposes only. It is not meant to be a serious run or a serious category, it's just a neat concept that I wanted to explore =)
This run on Nightmare difficulty is based around being able to give yourself or spawn Grasshopper Tea at will (either by w_grasshoppertea.tik or w_grasshopperteaitem.tik). It's multi segment, recorded with demos and mostly played at a lower timescale value, then played back normal. One line in the game files was altered to allow Alice to move during the pickup animation, other than that it has been played on regular vanilla AMA.
After recording the whole run I also installed the American Mcgee's Alice 2021 HD mod by Omri koresh (except for Overkill ofc), and recorded the demos using the HD textures, HD models and in full 1080p.
The full run comes to a total of 22 minutes and 54 seconds. The individual level times are as follows:

Cats at 2 in the morning :
If I ever manage to get the PC version of this game I might try running this.
I wonder how different is the remaster from the original game. Seems like nightmare difficulty got tuned down a lot, especially fish got like twice less the health.
It looks very spectacular!
Run to the hills
Run for your lives
Is it possible to mod in the passive mana regeneration, though?
No need to mod that in, just play on easy difficulty =)
@@madandy7197 that's the issue which upset me. Easy is is too easy and doesn't include all enemies. But on hard or madness? You waste more mana than there is to replenish, and being forced to use knife 90% of time is not fun. At least with mana regeneration you could use more weapons than knife majority of time.
@@MaxRideWizardLord I understand. As far as I know there are no mods for that and I'm not a modder myself to do that either. Closest thing I can think of is a trainer that gives you unlimited mana, but that's not the same thing at all ofc.
@@madandy7197 ah damned. I thought there might be console command for that.
Oof! I play on xbox, but I wonder if pc has better controls? Or i just suck at this game lol. Just in general, I have the hardest time with the first one. Prolly beat the 2nd one a handful of times... And I am still stuck on the queen fight rn lol.
Game was designed with K&M in mind so you'd probably have an easier time with those controls :)
What happened-
i dont remember tea being part of the game
wow lmao
16:55 wtf?
When you hit the trigger for a level change during the animation of a pickup object, the animation and time freeze state carries over to the next level. In most levels nothing much happens but in Jabberwock 1, the initial cutscene completely breaks allowing you to skip the fight entirely.
@@madandy7197 Clever... and terrifying.
