I love MediEvil, since the first time I played demo so many years ago. Lighthearted and fun, deep where it needs to be, too. Nice mix of fairy tale and adventure.
I'm playing the PS1 Volume 8 demo, and it has medieval on here. I look it up to see if it exists on eBay and of course it does. I had no idea they did a remake for PS4. All the more reason to go get one. What a good game! I would have been all over this as a kid if I had bothered to play it
nah, game's turned out to be pretty bad and glitchy (in a bad way), devs decided to fix useful stuff for the speedrun rather than making the game better. it's just a waste of space at this point
@@romulostx to do 7 deaths you have to lose all life bottles and get a game over to count as a death, then to get the trophy to activate (if glitched) you need to run out of time at the Haunted Ruins and you will get the trophy. Stay Awes9me
I don't have anything to compare it to, which is why Ghost Ship is confusing... how did he go into it 18 seconds behind, and end up ahead 2 minutes and 48 seconds? Didn't seem like a particularly fast Ghost Ship to me.
@@hugonewguy4009 I don't think so, there's a colon and two decimal places, which typically denotes minutes and seconds rather than seconds and milliseconds.

Tim Burton also does not make video games, are there any other insights you would like into why the whimsical world of "what if" remains fantasy as opposed to a part of your tangible world? Undead folk wandering around in a collapsed ruins of a former civilisation, the player character being an unremarkable member of the shambling horde, unforgiving difficulty~ My comment might be four months old but I think I'll stand by it. If you redirected Dark Souls to have that Burton vibe of disturbing childlike whimsical horror, I think you'd get something not dissimilar to Medievil.
@@pruhy1107 I respect your opinion, but for me the only remarkable improvements were the graphics. I mean, how can you make Ps4 controls worse than a ps1 game's, not to mention the game is really glitchy (in a bad way), it's not hard to go oob for no reason while playing casually, getting some random softlocks such as the pools of ancient dead or pirate captain ones, also horrible changes for boss fights.
romulostx there are glitches sadly, but bosses are much better. And controls are much better. They improved game a lot. But like I understand if you don’t like it

I routed all achievements but haven't tested if it's going to work (7 deaths trophies is weird)

probably not, even in a new game file the vanilla version remains available iirc
