Had the absolute pleasure of hearing this in person at the Bluecoats home show this year. Easily one of the most stunning moments I’ve ever experienced as a musician. Well done.
I liked this artist before I heard Bluecoats do it in 2014 (?) and I was BEYOND PUMPED you were doing it like. This lady is severely underrated and unknown but I’m glad she got that publicity. She has a new song out this year for the first time in 11 years. Long live Vienna Teng 🔥❤️
Back in the day corps played a signature piece as they trooped off the field at the end of retreat. Used to be at every show, then just regionals and finals, then not even at finals. Understand the need to get the corps members rest after the shows and dealing with noise ordinances... but the loss of that bit of history at finals...
I came back to say that I have listened this video countless times. The dynamics, overtones and room enhancement elevate what was already an epic performance. I’ll probably have this played at my funeral, with as many brass players as my sons can muster. Cheers.
Never knew a song about an multinational marketing database could sound so beautiful
Hymn of Axciom will never not be breathtaking
yet the lyrics are so sinister
0:56 that little trumpet bit, played softly under the chord just makes my heart soar.

They should play SARO every year. One of the best Bluecoats ballad.

I have listened to this an unhealthy amount of times the last 24 hours… my gosh it is glorious
Sad I’m done with band since I kept getting injured, but we always played this at the end of every GameDay and it makes me cry every time
one of the best DCI ballads of all time
I just can't get enough of this!
I'm going to see Vienna Teng in a few weeks. She is the author of this beautiful piece.
Vienna Teng is the absolute best! I've seen her 3 times, she never disappoints.
PLEASE don't EVER stop playing this!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️
I really wish they played more of it, because what they did play was really good
