Vibram Elite Project | Trail Running sole

Vibram has always been committed in providing the highest performance to all the outdoor passionate, from world class athletes to weekend amateurs. We belong to the outdoors, and we are driven by the desire to experience it at the fullest.
This is the core of the Elite Sole project: to merge Vibram’s best in class technologies with Team Vibram athletes’ on-field experience to develop the ultimate SoleSystem, without compromises. We have been working with four different athletes on four different soles: trail running with Gediminas Grinius, mountaineering with Barmasse Hervè, approaching with Barbara Zangerl and snowboarding with Michael Mawn.
The Trail Running Elite Sole is the results of thousands of miles of testing in many different conditions and soils. The Vibram SLE and Vibram HAE midsole construction grants cushioning and energy return at a very light weight. Lightness is also provided by the Vibram Litebase technology, which reduces the outsole weight up to 30%. Vibram Megagrip compound provides grip on any surface and Vibram Traction Lug increases the traction up to 25%.
