  • We are back at The Ridge Motorsports Park with our 2023 Porsche GT4RS "LabRat"!
    This time, we have the car outfitted with our Valkyrie Wing, Front Splitter, prototype Dive Planes and Air Curtains. We also equipped the car with our Dundon valved and spec'd MCS 3Way Dampers. We had our fellow drivers take some laps in the LabRat and give us their honest opinions and feedback on the modifications thus far!

    Where did you guys end up on the MCS settings... canister pressure, L/H bump, and rebound?
    What did you change on the valving from base MCS valving? They have a huge range just off the shelf, not sure what would be the purpose of altering the valving.

      Happy to share all the work we did and settings and such when you purchase a setup from us…. ;). The valving is to give the car a little bit of compliance for Street use….

    What will you be using for bump steer correction?

      @@DundonMotorsports what is the approximate eta? I'm looking at the TPC toe links at the moment to install before my next event in Oct. Thanks

    What future wheel setup are u guys after?

    • @DundonMotorsports

      Forgeline in 19”

    • @DundonMotorsports

      The front is likely to stay 19x9 with a 265 on it, we can get a bit more out of the rear with some different suspension parts to get a 315, maybe a 325 on it. 325 might be too much tire for the front end but it’d be nice to have the option

    What alignment specs are you running?

    • @DundonMotorsports
      @DundonMotorsports  ปีที่แล้ว

      -3.2 front with a touch of toe out, -2.8 rear with a touch of toe in. We will be editing these as we’re adding rake, and will have wider tires on it

    So you’re trying to make this car handle even better than it does from factory?

    • @DundonMotorsports
      @DundonMotorsports  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes sir. And it’s a LOT better than how it comes from the factory

      @@DundonMotorsports how come 3 way and not 4 way? Seems like you’re trying to beat the Nurburgring lap record.

    • @DundonMotorsports
      @DundonMotorsports  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Phuong_Nguyen_ cost, complexity and efficacy is why we do MCS 3 ways on our builds. Very few folks understand high speed rebound on the 4way. We generally don’t want people to be “lost in the woods” if they did want to tweak things.
