100% agree. Just took the 4RS to Circuit of the Americas and I couldn’t stop smiling, sweating, and swooning over every aspect of the 4RS. Totally agree with some motion under threshold breaking and some understear BUT I’m thinking about doing the Manthey upgrade and I heard it helps a lot. Also, haven’t really messed with my track alignment and downforce settings yet, probably do that first.
Well done Mickie. Have had mine for 12 months and agree it is epic. As you only have straight roads, I suppose you need to find a few roundabouts to give you a curve so you can enjoy how this car likes to dance around corners, almost skating above the ground.

Yes.. people don't realize that.. what Porsche are doing with their sound is amazing.. the regulations are insane and they are still putting a lot of R&D into it to just sound good. Complaining about sound.. just rev another brand.. cars like RS3 ; M8 ; etc sounds like.... a vacuum cleaner..
It does sound good. Especially with the windows up. It just doesn’t sound great. Now my car does. Maybe I’m crazy, but the Soul Performance setup makes this car one of the all time greats

That harsh ride you're noticing is due to those trendy large diameter wheels all the rage lately. The tradeoff for looks is a tire with little side wall and the harsh ride. I solved it for my Cayman with a set of Apex Racing Wheels in 18" diameter and the tallest tire that fit in the wheel well, and harsh ride solved. The car instantly became more compliant, inspiring confidence in those stutter bumps. If you notice, NASCAR, INDYCAR, F1 and IMSA cars do not run those short side wall tires.

I agree with Mickey. I just ordered: - Soul competition headers - Soul catted over axle pipe - Soul race resonated (no valves) muffler/exhaust. It adds a ton to the car. But if you want the most bang for your buck on a budget, order the Soul competition over axle pipes.

I am hesitating between a 4RS and 992 GT3. I prefer the sound and aesthetic of the 911... Also, I heard it drives better, more comfortable and more capable. But I like the rawness of the 4RS. Did you guys try both cars ? What would be your advice on this ? edit : I would only track it like twice per year, just like 3 or 4 sessions of 10 minutes.

Luv your passion, but not even close to keeping up with a Huracan umless you get an M engineering tune. Although, now it does sound as good. GEt the tune then race those other super cars. Start making calls and after the video comparison you will add alot more subscribers.That's what you should be doing since you are part of the rare few that likes to modify as I do. Good Luck!!!
Can’t tune the 4RS yet. Already tried with M. That being said this car is mid 7’s 60-130 with this exhaust. Same shit as a Huracan. Would be fun to race one 😀

If you like loud but still livable I would go competition headers, catted OAP’s and valved rear section from Soul Performance. No check engine light, insane sound and perfectly legal. I’ve learned that the GT4RS will never sound like a GT3. The way the exhaust is routed makes it very difficult to have the same yummy frequencies. If you want louder but not too loud, just go competition over axle pipes and valved rear section
What about the warranty. Had mine a year at 10k in the clock. Sold my JCR exhaust without fitting as warranty would be void. Had the car in the garage twice already with minor issues
Completely different cars. Depends on how much you are getting the 4RS for. Hellcat is more practical and easy to make really fast. It’s also so much fun. The 4RS is a precision tool. It’s more satisfying to drive.

@@MiamiMiles by a long shot! Better quality, a more emotional engine and the mechanical grip is far better. I am working with Soul to get the right solution for the exhaust and a tune. I already have the OAP’s and that is significantly better sound.

It has one of the best ride/handling compromises ever, best steering feel next to a Mclaren and isn’t geared as ridiculously long as the GT4. I’m not bashing on a 718 GT4 whatsoever as I previously owned one (and a 981 GT4 version before that) just saying it’s not head and shoulders above an Evora GT and in my honest opinion slightly less fun.

On the road the 718 Spyder is the best car. Period. The powerband of the GT3 motor is too high-strung for the street. The 718 Spyder/GT4 is so much better.

That solves the issue. I was told an alignment and tow links will also really help the issue
Give it a track alignment with max down for Settings… Huge difference. I run Road America and it’s an absolute beast.

Unpopular opinion. The 4RS looks much better without the Weissach.
Only problem with non Weissach is that the intakes turn into a hole. Looks kinda weird. Besides that, I don’t think you’re off base
I did end up getting the GT4. I had to get a manual and the RS manual is not an option. Beats the shit out of that EvoraGT! 🤣🙃

On the road the 718 Spyder is the best car. Period. The powerband of the GT3 motor is too high-strung for the street. The 718 Spyder/GT4 is so much better.
IMO. Spyder is slow, gearing is too long, car sounds terrible stock. I found myself bored driving it. The 4RS is 10x the experience of the Spyder.
