Both this and the movie play it differently. Chava is still not giving up on her dream, even with that cold splash of reality in her face. Her sister says it with sarcasm, preventing an attempt to use it as an argument. It also allows her to stay the rational one longer instead of having the second oldest be convinced quickly, making the younger sisters realization and understanding more believable
It's rare to see a high school production that has great choreography, singing, and acting
this is the perfect audition song
I like it in the movie version that Chava gets to say “Well I’ll do the best I can”

Are they lip syncing?
Nope, they are really singing. This was a live theatre production.
I love love love the film but in what world are these 3 sisters 😂 come on casting crew seriously???!!
Your just saying that because she’s black
They actually do look like they could be genetic sisters.
Who cares? 🤨 colorblind casting is a convention of theatre-unless it’s a show about race.
They can harmonize and have great voices.
@@andrea-gs4dx not really…
@@heluvsriley then you should read up on genetics 🤍
I dont know who arranged this play, but these are not high school students, they are pro's, almost pro's. They sing great.
